Maybe the DOJ is trying to rush the investigation so that the evidence can be destroyed before anything damning in it can be brought to light.

I don’t believe this can be glossed over now. Too many pissed-off FBI agents who can no longer be controlled.

"Hillary Clinton: ‘There is no case’ in FBI email investigation "

2016 Election

Inmates Forced to Watch Clinton Speech

September 11, 2016 Election, Hillary Clinton

From the Washington Times:

Federal convicts told a judge they were forced to watch Hillary Clinton’s convention speech at the federal prison where they’re being held — but said the prison imposed a blackout on Donald Trump’s speech, tuning the facility’s televisions to other channels.

The felons are trying to join the federal case against President Obama’s 2014 deportation amnesty, saying that Mr. Obama is discriminating against U.S. citizens caught breaking the law by punishing them, even as he attempts to grant work permits and taxpayer-funded benefits to illegal immigrants.

In filings in a federal court in Texas, the four female convicts — one of whom, in a bizarre twist, is serving time for smuggling illegal immigrants — said they need to be set free to fight their case. They said prison officials and other inmates are targeting them for their political beliefs, and particularly their support for Mr. Trump, the GOP presidential nominee.

“On the night of Hillary Clinton’s acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention, special accommodations were made, where every television in the housing units were placed on the channel where her speech was televised,” the convicts said. But they said they were not allowed “a television to watch Mr. Donald Trump give his acceptance speech.” The women are being held at Federal Medical Center-Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas.

The federal Bureau of Prisons refused to answer questions about the situation, insisting officials couldn’t comment because of the ongoing court case in Texas over Mr. Obama’s deportation amnesty.

Offended inmates could perhaps claim a violation of their Eighth Amendment protection against cruel and unusual punishment.

“Justice” is compromised and political.

I’ll wait for the slightly less dirty FBI.

Isn’t this the same Justice Dept that said it would take 75 YEARS to sort through and release Hillary’s emails?

Excellent point.

I’m expecting some FBI people to block and chain the doors to the evidence. They damn well better.

Even if they try to close the case by Friday, I think the damage is done. It was closed once before, and then re-opened. Closing it again leaves the impression that it could still be re-opened.

The taint of this is strong, and can't be washed away quickly. A month, maybe, but not in a week.

Add in the bonus of having Weiner all over it is like a cherry on top.

I'm not sure how damaging this is overall, as the Democrats don't seem to care that their nominee is corrupt, but among independents, this is something that can't be forgiven in a week.

Sounds like they want to pretend like they’ve done enough to clear her so they can give her a big bump starting Friday.

DOJ Tells Congress It Will Work "Expeditiously" To Review Abedin Emails... There Is Just One Problem

by Tyler Durden
Oct 31, 2016 4:36 PM

Now that the FBI has obtained the needed warrant to start poring over the 650,000 or so emails uncovered in Anthony Weiner's notebook, among which thousands of emails sent from Huma Abedin using Hillary Clinton's personal server, moments ago the Us Justice Department decided to also finally join the probe, and as AP reported moments ago, it vowed that dedicate all needed resources to quickly review emails in Clinton case.

In the letter to Congress, the DOJ writes that it “will continue to work closely with the FBI and together, dedicate all necessary resources and take appropriate steps as expeditiously as possible,” assistant attorney General Peter J. Kadzik writes in letters to House and Senate lawmakers.

So far so good, even if one wonders just how active the DOJ will be in a case that has shown an unprecedented schism between the politically influenced Department of Justice and the FBI.

And yet, something felt odd about this.

Kadzik... Kadzik... where have we heard that name?

Oh yes. Recall our post from last week, "Clinton Campaign Chair Had Dinner With Top DOJ Official One Day After Hillary's Benghazi Hearing" in which we reported that John Podesta had dinner with one of the highest ranked DOJ officials the very day after Hillary Clinton's Benghazi testimony?

It was Peter Kadzik.

(snip)

(We may need to burn Washington to the ground.)

But didn’t they have that before and they let her slide? Doesn’t there have to be more proof of intent than before?

I have to wonder. Obamas handlers vs the aging Clinton Cartel? A globalist power struggle?

"I’m expecting some FBI people to block and chain the doors to the evidence. They damn well better."

I'm sure I heard Rush say today that the Cheryl Mills, etc laptops that were destroyed were in fact secretely hidden/saved by 'renegade' FBI agents.

What a book the break-up of the FBI will be one day, eh?
