A new poll shows that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has improved his standings in Florida, now leading his opponent Hillary Clinton by four points. Trump is polling with 46 percent of the vote, while Clinton is trailing with 42 percent, according to the latest New York Times Upshot/Siena poll of the state.

Trump has improved his standings among Cuban-Americans by 19 points in just one month. A September poll showed Trump only earning 33 percent of Florida Cubans, with Clinton leading with 41 percent.

Today’s poll shows a dramatic shift. Trump now leads Clinton among Cubans by ten points — 52 percent vs. 42 percent for Clinton.

The MSM polls are worthless. Pure propaganda, like their reporting.

Coakley looks like Mother Teresa next to Hillary. But then, everybody does.

1.14 million registered voters in Broward for 2012 election.

1.18 million registered voters in Broward now.
67% turnout 2012. Expect that same turnout or less this year.

328,000 early or absentee voters so far this year. It was similar in 2012.

Voter Fraud rampant in South Florida in the past. Has it continued? All indications are that it is “business as usual” for the Democrats in Dade, Broward, Hillsborough, and Palm Beach Counties.

In these areas don’t look for a change, not in this election cycle. Absentee (especially), and early voting in these counties, and voters that vote in both northern states and Florida cause massive problems.

Voter fraud and only 67% turnout while statewide it’s 71%. Then they aren’t very good fraudsters in Broward.

In his 1971 no-hitter, Rick Wise only struck out 3 batters (one of the lowest totals ever in a 9-inning no-hitter), which is not the sign of a dominating pitching performance. But he only walked one, and he faced just one batter over the minimum—Pete Rose was the only Red to bat four times, and made the final out.

And the most impressive part of his pitching performance was that the opposing (defending NL champion) Reds had a lineup in which all nine players were past or future All-Stars, and the nine combined to be a part of 61 All-Star games. Moreover, the Reds starting lineup amassed around 18,800 career hits (Pete Rose got over 4,200, Tony Pérez over 2,700, Dave Concepción over 2,300, Johnny Bench, Lee May and Hal McRae over 2,000, George Foster over 1,900, Tommy Helms over 1,600 and pitcher Ross Grimsley 45), which may be a record for a team that was no-hit.

And Wise’s hitting performance was pretty special as well. Wise’s two homers drove in three of his team’s four runs. And he hit the two homers off two future All-Star pitchers, Grimsley and reliever Clay Carroll (the latter whom was named an All-Star for that season).

That was a good game for Rick Wise.

Here’s the boxscore for the game: http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/CIN/CIN197106230.shtml?mobile=false

Among all players with 25 games in a season, or pitchers with 25 games pitched in a season, who leads in single season slugging average AND earned run average? Not the same year for both, but both records are amazing.

“GOD BLESS DONALD J. TRUMP!!”

Indeed. Rough edges and all, there’s been NO ONE running for President in my lifetime who, I feel, has simply stood up there and told the truth about what’s happening to our country, and opened our eyes to the corruption on both sides of the aisle.

Interesting! I don’t know the answer, but I used to like checking The Sports Encyclopedia of Baseball for pitchers’ hitting stats.

I know Drysdale had a terrific year in 1965, and Earl Wilson was a prodigous home run hitter.

With the baseball references, what are your thoughts about this World Series and how it reflects on the election?

Hillary has thrown her support behind her hometown club, the Cubs.

If they manage to pull out the last two games and win this thing, what do you think the Indians fans will do as far as voting for someone who represents the Cubs?
