The ABC/Washington Post tracking poll was conducted from Tuesday to Friday, which means the surveys 1,781 respondents could only be asked on the final day about the revelations regarding the new emails.
Still, the poll found 34 percent of the respondents were less likely to vote for Clinton and that she now leads Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump by just a single percentage point, 46-to-45 percent, in a four-way White House race, with Election Day on Nov. 8....

I’m not “less likely” to vote for Clinton...I was at a 0.000% chance before the revelation....
jsut covering their butt from their ridiculously biased polls...now they have an excuse for being so far off
James O’Keefe of Project Veritas has promised to release a video early this week showing “them” demeaning and disparaging black people. Its going to be an interesting week, that’s for sure.
BOOM!
Its over - its actually already over because D +7, D +8 is nowhere in sight in early voting.
Remember, that’s why pollsters assume Hillary has a slight lead or the race is tied.
In reality, she’s well behind, especially if electorate is R +4.
Uh-Oh Spaghetti-Os!
Maybe they should just stay home in protest. They should make their voices heard with their refusal to support corruption. Or write-in Bernie. Or whatever.
IBD keeps getting (approx.) R+2 samples and ‘rebalancing’ (isn’t that unskewing?) to a D+7 to D+9 electorate.
I actually don’t believe this. I believe the 34% were people already voting for Trump.
The devil is in the details. Hillary supporters or waffling independents are not going to dump Hillary because of some vague lapse of email protocol. The actual emails themselves have to be damning for this to be damaging to her.

I agree. Though I'm sure the FBI announcement will help Trump, it will also give the biased pollsters an easy "out" when Trump wins and again they won't have to face any consequences for their open bias and attempt to influence the election. I can see it now, "Our polls were absolutely correct, Hillary really WAS ahead by 12 points two weeks before the election, but the FBI announcement threw the election into chaos and once the dust settled the voters moved to Trump..."
The news to the waffling independents is that top secret and classified emails are in the possession of a known sex offender.
That’s it.
Most of these voters didn’t know who Huma and the Weiner were.
They know now.
She is done.
All the rest is boring details argued about by talking heads and politics geeks.
So, how exactly can you be ahead a few points, lose 30% in a 3 day average, which should be 10%, and only lose 2% in the final tally?
You make a good point.
Yup. That’s exactly what they’re doing.
Electorate looks white, male, older, Republican and predominantly conservative.
Wait - that was 2014. A presidential year electorate is supposed to look multi-racial, female, younger, Democratic and predominantly liberal.
Oops - so maybe 2016 is the new 2014.
Bueno.
I don’t think the FBI announcement will change anyone’s mind that was already planning to vote for Hillary, (lets face it, if you were still going to vote for Clinton after the other hundred scandals over the last 25 years, one more won’t make a difference.) Where I think it will help is the “pox on both your houses” people or the “#nevertrumpers” that were planning to sit out the election. It might be enough to give them the kick in the butt they need to go to polls.
I think there is something to it. For those voters who pay attention, it’s not necessarily any one event so much as the steady drip drip drip of news about Hillary’s staggering amount of corruption that has a corrosive effect.
