Donald Trump's adviser for African-American outreach predicts the Republican nominee will receive more black votes than the 5% projected in a new FOX News poll. Brunell Donald-Kyei, vice-chair of diversity outreach for the Trump campaign, estimated support from the black community will be between 16 and 25% on election day.
On Wednesday's edition of Special Report, Donald-Kyei talked about "backlash" in the black community when you say you're a Trump supporter. She expects blacks will use the election booth to "speak up."
"I'm going to tell you there's backlash when you say hey, I'm a Trump supporter and I'm black," Donald-Kyei told host Bret Baier. "So what I suspect is going to happen is on November 8th, black people who have been quiet and afraid to speak up are going to speak up louder than ever in that voting booth on November 8th."
"They are afraid to speak up, but you'll definitely see on November 8th that it is greater than 6%. More like 16% to 25% black vote," she said.

Here’s their BIG CHANCE to step up for America.
1 in 4 would devastate Hillary’s chances.
5 percent is absurd. Can’t trust Fox anymore.
Rasmussen has had it from 15 to 23 for a while.
The black vote is critical to Clinton. Would not be surprised that in the next few days they come up with some story about how Trump said or did something racist. That’s how they roll.
Maybe 10% if he is lucky, hopefully most stay home.
I think the Monster Vote will be especially big amongst blacks. Big League!
If Trump gets 15% of the black vote, it is lights out for Hitlery.
I think it will be big 15 % +,...there are many black pastors that are not towing the party line this time around. They know the economy is in really bad shape and getting worse in their neighborhoods.
The population of the US is made up of 13% of blacks. Lets assume that blacks make up the same % of voters. Historically, republicans will get 10% of the black vote. If Trump doubles that (from 10 to 20 percent), thats 10% of 13% equaling 1.3%. Thats 1.3% more votes that Trump will get but also 1.3% that hillary won’t get. That is a 2.6% shift!
And we are only talking about one demographic here. Hispanics, independents, Reagan democrats, etc the same thing can happen.
Except the Republican figure is not 10% but more like 5%.
And, the other black number is those that voted for Obama but will not vote for Hillary because it’s just too much effort.
The two factors together will be a much larger % than the 1.3% you calculated
Hillary has programmed 100% of the Black vote in her counts of Black precincts, the usual count. It will look bad if the vote total shows 125% voted, with 25% for Trump.
So far that is just the AVERAGE we are seeing. Could be 20-25%
I;ve been saying that I think Trump could get as much as 16%-24% of the black vote, mostly because of black men (as i expect black women will still support Hillary closer to their normal numbers).
16% is the low end, but I’ll take it.
“the other black number is those that voted for Obama but will not vote for Hillary because its just too much effort.”
This is the issue that keeps the Beast’s campaign manager up at night...how do you get all of them to vote...it also means that voter fraud will be through the roof this election.
She’ll put on a uniform and shoot a black man herself if she has to.
I am starting to wonder what the era between a Trump victory and January 20th(? not sure on the date) might be like. It could be...”interesting”. I don’t think that Obama will dare to pardon anyone.
What would Trump do as President with this mess? I’d put Juliani on it as AG, because I’d say most Dems would see him as trustworthy. Maybe Sessions. I like that Sessions has never gloated.
“Would not be surprised that in the next few days they come up with some story about how Trump said or did something racist. Thats how they roll.”
Normally. But when you’re up to your ass in alligators, it’s kinda hard to focus on something as trivial as manufacturing fake outrage.
But, but....Frank Luntz has been hinting of a tape..../s
I’d like to see Trump’s Attorney General go after both Dem and Republicans involved in corruption and treason - that should get bi-partisan support across the country. It’ll be seen as patriotic, not partisan.
I can’t wait for Transition Teal follies. Trump and his team are going to steamroll the White Hose staff
