Comey's supporters argue that he had to break away from Lynch and act independently on the issue due to her compromising herself when she had an impromptu visit with former president Bill Clinton late into the investigation earlier this year. Comey broke away and sent a memo to bureau staffers explaining his decision to notify Congress He wrote that the FBI would not 'ordinarily' inform Congress about its ongoing investigations But said he noted he felt an 'obligation to' given that he testified repeatedly in recent months that bureau's investigation was completed On Friday, he sent a letter to eight Republican lawmakers regarding the reopened investigation - rocking Clinton's campaign

If Clinton is next exonerated before the election, we’ll know he is still with Her. No doubt at that point it is a complete distraction from other much worse news items. It is hard to imagine Comey making this play at this time for any other reason.

Jane Mayer of the New Yorker, who broke this story, is a hard-core leftist from the 1990s. The point of the story is to trash Comey for not following precedent and keeping such matters secret. She appeared to be trying to stir up animosity against Comey. Instead, she has added fuel to the fire of the public’s ire against a corrupt Administration.
Yes I saw this a couple days ago.....not surprising in the least...we know Lynch is in play ever since her meet and greet on the tarmac especially.
But I would ask ..’who is targeting who’ among those throwing their weight around now....comfy’s riding a very fine line as yet he has taken no “sides”....and of course is protecting his own interests.
There’s ten days left for this “thing” to shake further....before we see who comes out on top between Comey, Lynch, Obama and Hillary/Huma and staff......and inside game that is surely in play as well.

The FBI Director is appointed directly by the president for ten years and confirmed by the Senate. But the president can only fire the Director ‘for cause’. Lynch by contrast, can be fired by the president because he didn’t like her Eid recipes.

I live in Texas. Voting machines are switching people's votes from Trump to Clinton. Other areas of the country are loading buses full of homeless and illegals to vote for the dead and the apathetic on behalf of hillary. The corruption is rotting our nation to the core. JMHO

Don’t think that for a minute.....there’s a lot more in play here than what we see....Trumps advisors are telling hi not to mention Weiner for a reason....I hope he listens to them or Trump could blow this....
Ten days in an election as it stands now is still a lot of time....very important to keep that in mind IMO....and never under estimate the Clinton/Obama machinery.....they have turned the tide in the heat of a storm before.
Nothing like saying ‘screw you’ to your boss in a big way.
Of course she’d do that.
Trump’s advisors nearly ruined his campaign before — fear paralysis most of the time.
