I heard that the “re-opened” investigation has something to do with the Anthony Weiner investigation, and perhaps Clinton top aide Huma Abedin’s e-mails (as she is married to Weiner).
That was speculated, but all we really know is Foster was involved in “squaring the circle” of the Whitewater mess.

There has to be some link between the devices and clintonemail.Com. Otherwise, there’s absolutely no reason for Comey to notify Congress. It’s unimaginable that he would open himself to more ridicule after what he had gone through in July.
That was my first impression as well, that Clinton wants all of her questionable actions to be public, so that when Obama drafts his pardon it will be all-encompassing; that there will be no loose ends a Trump prosecutor could pursue.
But on second thought, there does not seem to be any way this latest release serves Clinton's political campaign; in fact, it may doom the campaign.
What is Obama's motivation for releasing the info prior to the election (via his agent, Comey), if not to provide a benefit to Clinton? Has Clinton overplayed her hand vis-a-vis Obama and this is his retaliation? Does the fact that Obama has been outed as a liar re knowing that she used a private server altere his strategy?
We live in interesting times, if not perilous.
First of all, who really believes anything the Clinton campaign says.
Second of all, they will focus on the “classified information” angle when it likely has nothing to do with that. Obstruction of justice and perjury are the angles to focus on.
