Seven people involved in the anti-federal government occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge have been found not guilty of conspiring to impede federal workers from doing their jobs, including Ammon and Ryan Bundy.

A jury found all seven remaining occupiers not-guilty of all charges except for one charge that has yet to be disclosed, KBOI reported.

From Oregonlive website

U.S. District Judge Anna J. Brown told him that there was a U.S. Marshal’s hold on him from a pending federal indictment in Nevada.

Oregon Standoff defendant Jeff Banta is relieved by acquittals
“If there’s a detainer, show me,’’ Mumford stood, arguing before the judge.

Suddenly, a group of about six U.S. Marshals surrounded Mumford at his defense table. The judge directed them to move back but moments later, the marshals grabbed on to him.

“What are you doing?’’ Mumford yelled, as he struggled and was taken down to the floor.

As deputy marshals yelled, “Stop resisting,’’ the judge demanded, “Everybody out of the courtroom now!’’

Mumford was taken into custody, a member of his legal team confirmed.

Ammon Bundy’s lawyer J. Morgan Philpot, said afterwards on the courthouse steps that Mumford had been arrested and marshals had used a stun gun, or Taser, on his back. Another member of Ammon Bundy’s legal team Rick Koerber, echoed Philpot, saying he heard Mumford questioning in court why they were using a Taser against him. That could not be independently confirmed.

Philpot decried the marshals’ treatment of Mumford in the courtroom. “What happened at the end is symbolic of the improper use of force by the federal government,’’ he said.

Finicum will be avenged in due course.

Not through violence, but by the elimination of the BLM and the prosecution of his murderers.

Oh my. This is horrible. Why would marshalls attack and arrest counsel? This is the kind of thing that ends the order of societies. Liberty Tree 1765.

I kind of like this result but how many here were in support of nullification when the Black jury acquitted Simpson?

>>The jury may think they set them free but even a conviction on a single count can hammer them<<

That’s so FBI of them. Hold back a charge in case they are found not guilty, they can then continue to deny them of their freedom.

What kind of country do we now live in that the most corrupt politician in American history could potentially become the president while folks standing up for their rights against a huge ferrule behemoth gets them jailed.

Wow!

The OJ Simpson prosecutors, quite frankly, failed to prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt. They blew it.

Thus, the OJ case was not jury nullification, but in any event, I firmly believe that jury nullification is of paramount importance in our Justice system, and should not be minimized or dismissed.

Excellent and about time.
The people are starting to get Fed up.

When the people fear the government there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is freedom.

It’s odd how they moved on these guys like they were career violent felons. And the ambush after the curve on that lonely stretch of highway? Isn’t that what you’d plan for if going against some mass murdering terrorist or violent armed robbery suspects? They knew who all these guys were. Before the shooting some in the group even went to where the FBI setup at this facility and spoke with and shook the hands of some of the armed agents. This went on for 30 minutes and all had a big laugh exchanging phone numbers etc.

There were way better ways to handle this.

Sorry, but you sound like a buffoon.

The Reuters article states that the lawyer was tazered.

It didn’t make much sense, that after the verdict the defense attorney, who won the case, was tazered.

But it happened and they are not letting all of them out of jail despite being acquitted.

I don’t even follow this but simply read the article about it.

I’d say the original poster is a buffoon for citing Russia Today, so kill give you that.

The liberals are going crazy saying this acquittal is because they were white and it is white Privilege (white middle class SJW-caring types are saying this).

They compare it to BLM and Dakota Access Pipeline.

It’s all so ludicrous.

Two of the Bundys had moved to Emmett, ID> Good God-fearing, patritotic Americans.

If I had not had my cancer come back and send me back into surgery I wouod have most likely been wth them and taken part as I did at Klamath and Jarbidge.
But they will continue to hold them and try and milk all they can out of the singele charge, and seek to find issues with the judge’s instructions or anything they can.

Then they will take them down to Nevada and go through the whole thing again.

Keep praying...keep fighting.

An amazing verdict given how much the government stacked the deck against them.

There’s more details and information to be sorted out tonight.

Besides tasering the lawyer for Ammon Bundy one of those found not guilty, David Fry, was beat up by the federal marhsals.

This is according to a post on Facebook from Gavin Seim.

True. I am so thankful for the verdict.

Nothing can ever be done to fully compensate these men for the hell the Gov’t put them and their family and friends through. But the gov’t should be found liable and made to reimburse them financially. Yes, I know we supposedly can’t sue the gov’t, and that such a compensation would essentially come from the taxpayer. They’ve been put through hell by these evil tyrants. Their names are permanently listed in the Fed Criminal database, even though they were found to be not-guilty. Their lives will never be the same.

Hell is too good for the Oligarchs who hold our citizenry with the chains of tyranny.
