Five states—Alabama, Alaska, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Wyoming—will have only one insurance company offering plans through the Obamacare health insurance exchange in 2017, according to an analysis by the Kaiser Family Foundation.

Talked to a person last week who lamented that it didn’t make sense to go to work. They would get hit with $1800/month obamacare premiums (might have exaggerated). They would lose Tenncare and have to pay 20% copays on upcoming surgeries (3) (Probably not an exaggeration).
Frustrating when people want to work, but can’t because of stupid insurance design.

We knew this would happen. The left ALWAYS triumphs because the GOP does absolutely nothing. Furthermore, it took just a few spineless politicians (Merkley, Nelson, Warner, if I recall) and an absolute joke in a Supreme Court justice (Roberts) to give Obamacare the push to the finish line. Obamacare (ACA) was fully known predictably to fail on inception. It was no secret since FDR that single payer, universal, socialized medicine was the goal.It is a key ingredient into the recipe for power and control and a delimiter of personal liberty. We are way past the spark of revolution. America as she once was is in the wasting away phase. Even a Trump victory may not be able to return any resemblance of order ,dignity and constitutional adherence of our federal and state governments overall. In my estimation, unless we want to play out further generations to this tyranny until the USA is only a shell of itself, there is only one solution. That solution is not pretty as history has shown.
I was working at a call center for Obamacare when it first started. A woman called from Nebraska to say that there was only one company offered to her on the web page and the only doctor that accepted that insurer’s coverage was located in Omaha - over 100 miles away.
The mission all along was to fail...so they can put final nail in coffin for only one size fits all government insurance.
So sad, American people have been lied to and/or fooled themselves into denial as to where this was going...At the beginning, meme was Congress will repeal it; they did not...and House won’t fund it; they did. Then in 2012, Romney will repeal it, etc.
I remember RINOs like Ryan and my Congresscritter and even some Freepers confidently stating no need to defund it...don’t worry, problem will take care of itself... Obamacare is going to implode, not going to be a problem, etc...Now we have states with 1 provider and premiums rising — not sure the highest, but heard 25%.
