An unnamed former senior military officer has apparently claimed all evidence shows Russian submarines will enter the US via the small village of Wasilla, in Alaska.
According to the ex-Navy brass, the stretch of coastline is totally unprotected and would be ideal to stage an attack from.
He said: Our feeling in the Navy was that Obama had turned Alaska into a defenseless area that will serve as a forward base of operations when World War III begins.
We are the verge of being invaded from Alaska all the way down into Canada and eventually the Northwest.
If Hillary wins and this happens, the Russians might save the country.
“...all evidence shows Russian submarines will enter the US via the small village of Wasilla, in Alaska.”
Amphibious submarines?
Back in 1959 I served at the Galena AFS in Alaska when there was a similar situation with Russia. Eisenhower was the CIC then. I was guarding the jet fuel storage tanks (we were flying F-102 Delta Daggers) dressed in my parka in subzero weather, cradling a 30-30 M-1 carbine, and musing: “why do these Americans trust a foreigner with their precious jet fuel in this precarious situation?” I had just been in the US for three years and was not a US citizen then. I am looking at these GIs in their dapper uniforms and modern weapons.
Not worried...They’ll never get past Sarah Palin...
Really good crop of ganja in Alaska this year?
Ping!
Yeah, and it is relatively “inland” ... those subs would have to go across about 30 miles of land to get to Wasilla.
I was pondering a mirror-universe version of Red Dawn last night, where the rural Americans welcome the Russian paratroopers and weep for joy as they execute boxcar-loads of our worthless politicians.
A lot farther than that!
The Russian colonization of the Americas covers the period from 1732 to 1867, when the ... The purchase of Alaska for $7.2 million ended Imperial Russia’s colonial presence ended.
Look up Wing in ground transports. Dunno if the rus skies still use them but they would make crossing the strait easy enough, especially if the ground is realitively flat.
Satan is coming. Then Jesus, we got the letter a long time ago...
Really surprised more Freepers haven’t made the “connection”.
You want to try to launch a transport through a torpedo tube? The story specifies an invasion by submarine.
I am a little skeptical on this one...
Would there not be people from FR who live in AK that could verify this...
Would there not be some sort of Cell Phone civil defense notification?
Unnamed source, no specifics as to what notification and how disseminated...
I would like more information if anyone has it.
The Russians by far. IMHO
