Hillary Clinton is ahead of Donald Trump by double digits with just over three weeks until Election Day, according to a new national NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll conducted entirely after the second presidential debate.

do you have a link to Attkinson’s statement??
This weeks polls internals...
WaPo D+8
Fox D+9
NBC D+12
Reuters D+15
______________
I think I get it. They are assuming that the dems will be so enthusiastic that 18.9% more dems will show up. Wow!
NBC has been historically biased against Trump. Even at his high water mark before the first debate when 538 gave Trump the lead, NBC still had him down 7.
meant to make us not shocked by rigged results due to voter fraud and electronic “glitches” an and trunk loads of “found” ballots.....
i didn’t see rat vs GOP...i did see two pages on questions about Trump controversies but did not see wikileaks mentioned once...
please correct me if I’m wrong...

I’m thinking the enthusiasm will be 20% more repubs will vote for Trump.
please explain (being serious- not trolling)...
Don’t forget where John Harwood and Andrea Mitchell work - NBC and its wholly-owned offshoots. This “poll” is a deliberate manipulation to favor Clinton, another move by NBC to try and skew the election. Years ago I would have been surprised that the WS Journal put their name on such garbage; I no longer am surprise and I no longer READ the Wall Street Journal.
So you are saying this is a Dem +19 of the whole?
Just go to her twitter account and you will see them all there. She has about a dozen tweets on this now!

Yes! I think the poll assumes the same kind of enthusiasm as for Obama for Hillary.
Trump draws over 50,000 per rally now when you include Facebook and Youtube and many times it is more like 75,000-100,000.
Something is way off now.
It isn't just in the oversampling. It is the whole poll itself. They have a whole question ( q 18 ) on Trumps taxes. Not one question on Hilary's destruction of evidence. Another one - Hillary Clintons use of a private e-mail server during her time as Secretary of State- doesn't mention what was on the server or her destroying evidence that was under subpoena. The whole tone of the "survey" is anti-Trump.
thanks
Thank you for introducing some statistical sanity into this thread.
The sample, per the poll
Dems 44%
Repubs 37%
Ind 13%
Other 7%
It’s a D+7 poll.. not a D+18 poll, as is implied in the heading.. yeah, technically it is 18% more Dems but who has ever looked at it that way?
If it’s D+4, (say 38/34), do you want that shown as 4% more D than R or 11% more? Did Romney lose to Obama by 4 points or 8 points (4 percent divided by his total)
What are you talking about? If you poll 18% more Dems than Repubs, in what world is that not 18%? I hold a graduate degree in computer science and make a living in data analytics so I’m curious why you believe this not to be true.
D+15??? Seriously? Lametastic.
Look at post 27... 44D, 37R. It’s a D+7 poll
