A new poll shows that Republican Todd Young has pulled within a single percentage point of Democrat Evan Bayh in the race for Indiana’s open U-S Senate seat.
In the latest poll, Bayh has a 42 percent to 41 percent lead over Young. That’s a statistical tie when the poll’s margin of error of four-percent is considered. Libertarian Lucy Brenton got 8 percent of the vote.
The race is important because it could play a key role in determining which party controls the Senate after the election. As a result, the campaigns and outside groups have poured millions of dollars advertising into the race.

This is a good sign. Todd Young has momentum on his side.

We need BOTH houses and the Presidency if we’re going to get anything done.
Let’s hope he doesn’t go all linguine-spined and denounce Trump and throw away his chance to win like Cheap Labor Express Joe Heck did.

I say this as someone from Indiana whose family was involved in leadership of previous Bayh senatorial campaigns.
1. The Republicans are hammering him for his Obamacare vote back in 2010.
2. The Republicans are also ridiculing him by claiming that he moved to D.C. as a lobbyist and doesn't represent Indiana anymore. If Bayh loses this race, he will be remembered for what will go down as one of the worst blunders in modern politics. He was asked about this particular point in an interview, and when the interviewer asked him where he lived in Indiana he gave the wrong address. LMAO.
