Cruz Reaffirms Trump Support In Wake of Lewd Comments About Women

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz is standing by his support of Donald Trump following the release of a 2005 clip showing the Republican presidential nominee speaking lewdly about women.

Cruz, who endorsed Trump in September after a months-long holdout, was asked Monday by an interviewer in Muleshoe if he was "still backing the Republican candidate for president, Donald J. Trump."

"I am supporting the Republican nominee because I think Hillary Clinton is an absolute disaster," Cruz replied.

Glad Gingrich is saying this. He’s laying it out as it is.

Good Cruz seems supportive now. I hope he continues to be. I don’t know how he’s going to win trust back, but glad if he’s at least trying.

Obviously, you do not understand human nature and you certainly do not understand why so many Republican candidates and officials were so eager to "jump" off the Trump "train."

You should fall on your knees and thank God that Ted Cruz has more forbearance than the head the ticket and certainly more than a host of high Republican officeholders.

For G.O.P. Candidates, Renouncing Donald Trump Carries Dire Risks

Paula Barche Rupnik, a Republican from Scottsdale, Ariz., was planning to vote for Senator John McCain in his re-election campaign this year. But she changed her mind this weekend, after he rescinded his support for Donald J. Trump.
Instead, she plans to split her ticket, voting for Mr. Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, but for Mr. McCain’s Democratic challenger, Representative Ann Kirkpatrick.
She has never voted for a Democrat before.
“I want to send a message to John McCain,” said Ms. Rupnik, 58, a consultant for an essential oils company. “If he doesn’t get elected, the American people that support Trump are going to blame it on those Republicans who didn’t support him.”

“It must have been that letter I sent him.
He listens to me.
Ok, not really, but I did send him a note telling him not to be a stupid jackass ......again.”

Good! More people need to do that.

As Senators go these days, I would still rate Cruz in the top 2 of 100 scallywags.

Welcome home, Mr. Cruz.

The past is the past. All those that love America must band together, gather strength, and prepare. The battle ahead is a long and difficult one. And won’t be pretty.

Although McCain is as often as bad as a Democrat, can we afford to lose Republican senators? I certainly don’t want to see Reid back in charge.

I think Cruz realizes he made a huge career-ending mistake hitching his wagon to Glen Beck.

I predict Beck’s media empire will disintegrate within the next 6 months. No one (not liberals or conservatives) trust his judgement. He is off the rails insane. His sidekicks, Pat and Stu have also ruined their careers for not challenging his leftward tilt.

For the most part only those who disliked TRUMP from the start are acting like idiots. Cruz was reamed by the chairman of the RNC. The others WILL fall in line and once Ryan realizes he will lose the House leadership, he will get back in line too. This was all a setup. Look, people are interested in voting for their own pocketbooks - it’s the economy! People hate gutter politics and Clinton will pay come election day, count on it.

What a remarkable conclusion, that Ted Cruz is a worse Scallywag than all but one of these senators mentioned at random:

Chuck Schumer

Harry Reid

John McCain

John Thune

Mitch McConnell

Oh I forgot to mention Michael Lee of Utah with a 100% Scallywag rating, he must be worse than Ted Cruz who only has 96% scalawag-I mean, conservative- rating.

This ruins CNN’s talking points.

Saying that since when did CNN actually report facts anymore?

Good for him but Paul Ryan can go to hell along with every last sc*m sucking rat bastard who reelected that piece of cow dung. Never in my life have I ever seen someone work so hard as he has to ensure the victory of a candidate in the opposing party. That backstabbing rat punk was out there bashing Trump front and center before anybody else when that tape came out, before Hillary, before Pelosi, he can absolutely eat s**t and die along with all the punks who reelected him, he very well may have cost Trump this election and this after Trump did him a favor and endorsed him.

And we are to believe that Mr. Clinton is not a lewd made, seen here groping a stewardess' inner thigh and being restrained in his advance by said stewardess?
