Do you live here? If you do, then tell me where are all the visible signs of HRC support. Nada! Lots of Bernie support but no HRC. If the dems don’t turn out, CA could tip DJT’s way.

There are some in my neighborhood voting for Hillary but there are also a lot of Trump people.

At a local park the other day I saw childish "Hillary!" signs posted along a path, which led to a play area where some kids + parents had set up a bake sale table promoting their favorite candidate. They had few comers. I saw a couple of young thirtysomething men walk by, glance at the table, and move on, and I distinctly heard one of them mutter "speed bump." This was before the Sunday debate.

It was a national ad.

You have a point. While carrying CA is not gonna happen running strong will help downticket candidates and give people some hope in our largest state.

But I’ll remind that Bob Dole wasted a lot of money in Cali, and went on to lose a bunch of states he should have won. Resources are finite.

In any case, this was a national ad.

I grew up in Burney CA. Both my mom and Dad grew up in Eureka though, so I know your area well.

He won’t win CA.

Not going to happen.

Probably national ads spilling over from swing state NV.

Why bother?

Not every action in a campaign is what it appears to be from the outside. True, this is probably the usual California head fake, but maybe she’ll bite and waist money reacting.

He may not win CA, But Hillary may not either. They have what 5-7 on the ballot there. And many are so turned off Hilary they will protest vote the others. So there is possibility she may not win it.

Trump could be playing to them to keep them from voting for her.

It’s a smart campaign.

In the VP debate, Pence mentioned coal a lot. He was working for votes in Appalachia, PA, Ohio.

Trump is clearly trying to grab Bernie supporters.
And African Americans. And Latinos.

Everything is up for grabs. Hillary is vulnerable everywhere (maybe not Hawaii).

You can see the mechanics of Trump’s campaign. He’s working all the angles.

“Granted I do not live in SF but have family/friends in LA and none of them are voting Hillary.”

Trump is not “anti-gay” in the traditional republican sense. That’s the #1 issue for homosexuals, and he hasn’t said or done anything for which they can attack him on his stance.

Even with the NC bathroom bill, he said NC was foolish to even address it. He never said whether he thought group restrooms should be multi-sex.

He has said he’ll appoint SC justices who oppose abortion, but that’s a secondary issue for homosexuals, for very obvious (and physiological) reasons.

Make her spend money

Make her think about it

Trump is running a winning strategy

Something the GOPussies should have been doing for the past three decades
