Paul Ryan will no longer campaign with Donald Trump (No Longer?)
New York Post ^ | October 10, 2016 | Daniel Halper

Speaker Paul Ryan told House Republicans Monday that he won’t campaign with, or defend, Donald Trump and he urged his members to “do what’s best for you” in the presidential race.

In a stinging rebuke to his party’s presidential nominee, the nation’s top elected Republican told fellow GOP members in a conference call that protecting the party’s House majority must be their priority going forward, multiple news agencies reported.

Ryan said he “won’t defend Trump” or otherwise campaign for him between now and Election Day, according to Politico.

He told Republicans in Congress to “do what’s best for you,” according to CNN.

Hard to imagine the GOP going beyond current leadership:

Kevin McCarthy, Steve Scalise, Cathy McMorris Rodgers, Luke Messer.

The people in his district had better toss this jackass out.

It is as simple as that.

There’ll be a new Sheriff in town come January, and new deputies, too.

They’re gonna rock the jailhouse, and Ryan will be lucky if he can find a job changing the sheets in the whorehouse across the street.

I got news for him. Given what he is doing, the Republicans will lose the house. I am not a Trump fan but he is the nominee like it or not. I am leaning to forgetting about the down ballot for national offices. Most likely I will vote for President and state legislature candidates on the republican side.

If Paul Ryan ever really started to support Donald Trump, Tom Donohue would jerk Paul's leash so fast it would break his neck; if Tom didn't do it soon enough, then Cesar Conda would get 'er done. We will never hear a genuine bit of support for Trump from the USCofC's "kept woman" in the House, now or ever.

In a stinging rebuke to his party’s presidential nominee

Nope, it's a stupid ploy that will burn him in the long run. His endorsement was nothing but show anyway.

He is incredibly full of himself. He really thinks he is hot stuff.

That's because the big donors and losers like Romney tell him how important he is....and he actually believes them.

The point is get rid of him in the general.

Ryan received $25,000 in donations from Hastert over the years but didn’t give them back.

It’s interesting because the Republican Party fights harder against Donald Trump than they do against the Democrats.

I would so vote for the open Democrat candidate rather than the closet democrat Ryan if I lived in his district.

“He told Republicans in Congress to “do what’s best for you,”

`Vote your conscience’? All Ryan wants is continuation of the status quo, a GOP Congress.
We’ve heard this before: `Give us the Congress, then watch our smoke!”
And we’ve been suffering with their leadership for two years. `Go nowhere’ investigations. The pResident has his own US Treasury checkbook, writing the UN a $50,000,000 check `to fight global warming in 3rd world countries’. Unchallenged EOs, unenforced immigration laws. `rats thumbing their noses at the law. RAT senators and former GOP presidents supporting Democrats. Just for starters.

GTH Ryno and GOP-e!

Ryno campaigning for Trump wouldn’t win Trump a single vote that he wouldn’t have had anyway. But by coming out against Trump, Ryno has increased Trump’s support from those who detest Ryno and his uniparty cabal, which is a considerable pool of votes. Much better momentum now, so thanks, Ryno.

I know they collectively have lost the ability to even conceive the concept of doing right for the electorate.

The people in his district love him - at least the Republicans do. He won his primary in a landslide. Now, that was among Republicans. I don’t know what will happen if you factor in the Democrat candidate and if Republicans crossed over.

It’s all about protecting the DC elites and their way of life on the gravy train.

Whatever it takes, he needs to be removed from office. If it means his seat goes to a Democrat, what of it? He is a younger John Boehner. All of us knew it before he took over, and he has done nothing but prove it since.
