SALT LAKE CITY -- Congressman Jason Chaffetz said he is withdrawing his support for Donald Trump Friday after a video surfaced showing the Republican candidate for president making vulgar remarks in 2005 about touching and kissing women without their consent.
Chaffetz, a Republican representing Utah's Third Congressional District, appeared on Fox 13 News at Nine Friday, saying: "I'm out. I can no longer in good conscience endorse this person for president. It is some of the most abhorrent and offensive comments that you can possibly imagine."
Rep. Chaffetz said he and his wife have a 15-year-old daughter, and he said if he can't look her in the eye and tell her about what Trump said he can't endorse the man.
While Chaffetz said he isn't sure who he will vote for, he said he won't be voting for Hillary Clinton and added that it's a shame Mike Pence isn't at the top of the ticket. He also said Trump's response to the criticism was an apology for getting caught, not an apology for his behavior.
Earlier Friday, Utah Gov. Gary Herbert also reacted to the footage and stated he would not vote for Donald Trump.

Yes, that is the angle the media using. They are saying that Trump is saying to grope and kiss women by force without their consent. Yeah, there is nothing defensible about what Trump said. However, if Trump were advocating that, why didn’t he do it? In the same video he is talking about being rejected by a woman. Did he grope and kiss her anyway? No. In the video he makes the comments in reference to a woman who is there (not sure if it’s the woman in the dress walking with him). Did he grope and kiss her? No. It was words, but it wasn’t actions.

Those days, when I was in between marriages for several years, I had more time on my hands. So, one of the things I did in my quest for more enlightenment, was to try different religions. During the time I was a Muslim, I was surprised that this religion taught me that I can have any woman I want... regardless of what she wants. I was totally immersed in my learning experience, so I had to live that way to be true to the immersion.
I eventually moved on once I learned the essence of Islam. This deep understanding for Islam, as well as the others I studied, will serve me well while governing this great nation.
If anyone has an issue with the Islamic ideas on women, that should be taken up with the Islamic community.

Donald talks about bad things that affect only him and his family. Hillary talks about and actually does bad things that affect the entire country. She is America’s Trojan Horse if she gets another stay in the White House.
Yup, by his actions, Hillary may win, and with that, his daughter will end up getting gang raped by 30 Muslims a few years from now.
Chaffetz, and Ryan are the two up to this point who we can tell have delusions of grandeur about their political futures, and are preparing in their minds the puritanical history they believe they need in support of their future campaigns for whatever higher office they may be considering.

Chaffetz is pretty good at seeming concerned and acting as if he’s accomplishing something, but he’s not accomplishing jack. He’s Eric Cantor, but a tad less oily.
