tudent leaders of this years freshman orientation at James Madison University were given a list of 35 things they should avoid saying, including phrases such as you have such a pretty face, love the sinner, hate the sin, were all part of the human race, I treat all people the same, it was only a joke, I never owned slaves, and people just need to pick themselves up by their bootstraps, among other expressions.
Those phrases and others on the list widen the diversity gap and do not create a safe and inclusive environment, according to the seven-page handout, a copy of which was provided to The College Fix by a campus spokesman.

were all part of the human race,
How is it the Pinkos find THAT to be harmful?
Ten commandments (Exodus 20:117), ten beautiful precepts, 313 words. James Madison University posts seven pages of pure crap. Does anyone wonder why college graduates learn nothing other than being useful idiots?
See... see... they didn’t want diversity after all.
Well now the students know exactly what to say....: )
So why shouldn’t we all be Jewish?
The full list of 35 dumb expressions is:

I guess asking to be judged by the “content of your character rather than the color of your skin” is out too.
We are all equal. But those with historic grievances are more equal than the rest. So those of you with "privilege", don't you dare group yourself with the oppressed.
And how Ironic - this takes place at college named after James Madison, the “Father of the Constitution,” writer of the Bill of Rights, and founder of the idea of “nullification.”
“were all part of the human race, yea remember that when a muslim is slitting your throat.
What happened to healthy rebellion?
What happened to "Hell, no"?
This is just so ridiculous. Who the hell are these people to censor free speech, particularly this list of entirely innocuous phrases.
The "Hell, no" folks would get suspended, and then expelled. No one wants to be a kamikaze.
Solzhenitsyn wrote about that very same thing. He said that the Soviet state would have collapsed if all those who were visited by the police would have resisted. But no one resisted. All were lead away, hoping that they would eventually be pardoned.
It's part of the human condition, wanting to avoid being a dead (or expelled) martyr. It's something the fascists take full advantage of.
Bingo! Sure glad I perused the thread before posting.
I hate stepping on another’s great post. I wonder
if the students at James Madison have any clue about
this man.
We can thank V.P. Biden for that one being on the list.
Regards,
Guess my saying to both of my grandsons, as I am known to do frequently, “Hey snowflake, suck it up” probably wouldn’t be acceptable.
Perhaps the University should refer back to some of the comments of their founder.
Liberty may be endangered by the abuse of liberty, but also by the abuse of power. James Madison
