Sounds like NBC is almost resigning himself to a Trump win. If he lost I still think we would eventually see NBC go to Trump with their hat in their hand begging him to do another Apprentice. The money and ratings were too good for them.
The money to dredge up dirt on Trump will not fail to get grifters to say anything to make a easy buck. With the right amount of money you can make the whores do and say anything.

Excellent point! It’s complete and total hypocrisy, as well as a lack of common sense, judgment, and proportion.
I think Hillary knows that if Trump wins he’s going to put together a legitimate DoJ that will reopen investigations that follow the law.
She will end up in prison so all the marbles are on the table. I think the media know this too. Either they win or the house collapses. ...so no surprise the media attacks are off the chart.

Trump needs to (should have) set up something like clintons bimbo eruption team. None of these things should come as a surprise to his campaign team. There should be strategy for dealing with this crap like his taxes, the miss universe kerfluffle etc. And I don’t mean tweeting at 3 in the morning from the candidate. Some of it should be proactive and it should be calm and rational. Simply saying they do it too didn’t work for me when I was 6 and it’s definitely not going to work for a republican nominee. It just seems like his campaign is so ill prepared to deal with this.
