Good evening, Mooch...our troops at work and play. God Bless them all.
Has fall come to your town? We had frost last night, and the news just hinted at more in the morning.

Thank you, Kathy...I have been battling back pain for over a month and finally all is calm. I don’t encourage night critters anymore because they suddenly started knocking my bird feeder and squirrel guard down and breaking them.
Kitties are fine..Eldest kitty has problems (liver failure) but is much improved after a year of milk thistle. She was a skeleton last October but finally started gaining weight and not throwing up so often this summer . I am grateful.
(((HUGS)))
Hope payroll allows you to get home soon.

Howdy, Kathy.
BRRRRR!!! Frost already? Maybe y’all are going to have a real winter this year.
We didn’t have frost but we did dip into the 40s last night. Got a bit nippy in the house by the time I went to bed this morning. Another little front is coming through tonight so I don’t know how chilly it’ll get.
Just went to see Aunt Clara this afternoon and did the weekly grocery shopping on the way home. Been immersed in tv shows this evening - - Wed.’s my fave tv night.
Y’all going to be able to get your work done on time or did yesterday’s internet outage throw you too far behind?

So sorry about your back misbehaving, but glad it is finally settling down.
Cheeky night critters! Good news about Elder Kitty.
Finally got the issues fixed...and error by HR. Computing, running reports, and posting now.
The main report runs about an hour.

An HR error caused today’s lengthy delay.
All benefits, medical, dental, visions, life insurance must be entered starting with an M...nothing balanced, so the hunt was on. We finally found the miscreant in the V’s...life insurance started with a V. *sigh*
Stay warm.

Dang!!! If it ain’t one thing, it’s a bunch of others! Not been a good week at all, has it? :-(
Not all that bad here really. Just got cool enough in here last night that it meant changing from sleeveless top and shorts into a t-shirt and long pants.
We aren’t as close to “real coat” weather as you are ...... yet. LOL

Oh my! Poor kitty! But you’re very lucky she’s made it this long with liver failure. We’ve lost a few over the years to liver failure and none made it very long after diagnosis. I guess it wasn’t caught in time.
Glad she’s doing so well and hope she continues to do so.

Thank you, Radu. It is a miracle....I thought she would be dead by Christmas.
Once she gradually improved but still did not gain weight..although her appetite was good ..I went back to the doctor, another shot of fluids, Antibiotic and the long period of getting her to eat more canned food and less dry food began...She LOVES dry food so it was hard.
My daughter brought 8 different kinds of kitty canned food to try to entice her!
Her blood work showed much improvement in May so I gained hope ...and she has gained weight.
I am now a believer in Milk Thistle. I’ve cleaned a lot of carpet this year...I am not on my hands and knees scrubbing every day anymore. It was really bad for a long while for her.

Fall finally came here. Daytime temperature in the 70s, evenings in the 50s. I’ll still kinda miss summer, though.

So cool that her blood work shows improvement. Your vet’s a miracle worker.
Milk thistle as a remedy is something my vets never brought up. I was given some kind of pills, some special vitamins, and was told to feed them food low in protein. It worked well for one cat but then the vet clinic was torched by some thug on Halloween. No other vets around here carried the pills or the vitamins and poor Ophelia went downhill quickly. She was gone by the time the vet clinic was open again.
I hope you can find food that she likes so she’ll continue to do well. Our cats love Friskies and they have a large variety of flavors to choose from.
