This Wednesday’s “Modern Family” will include an openly transgender child actor on TV. In the upcoming episode — entitled “A Stereotypical Day” — parents Cameron “Cam” (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) permit their daughter Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) to have her transgender friend Tom over for a play-date. Both parents are filled with pride that they have done well in raising an accepting and open-minded child. But that pride quickly diminishes when Lily insults her friend, which they use as a teachable moment.
Lily’s playmate Tom will be played by 8-year-old transgender actor Jackson Millarker

Who watches such awful dreck? Hopefully, parents will not let children watch these sleazy shows, but we all know they do. Then we wonder why kids are so screwed up they don’t even know if they are boys or girls. Horrible.
I am losing shows to watch. Modern Family started out as a funny good show. It’s running out of steam. Now this.
During the last campaign, Mitt Romney said Modern Family was his favorite show.

I hear you. I still like Modern Family, but may skip this tranny episode. I’m starting to get into Fresh Off the Boat. I really liked Superstore, which premiered last spring and ran for about 10-12 episodes. But at its second season’s premiere last week, it had a tranny bathroom mini-storyline. Ugh. Way to politicize an otherwise funny show.
Speechless seemed okay in its series premiere last week. I’ll keep an eye on that comedy. Other than that, I’m glad for shows like The Blacklist and Chicago P.D. to be back!

The parents of that little GIRL (it sounds likes it’s a girl pretending to be a boy not the other way around) deserve to lose custody. Doctors/shrinks involved should lose their licenses.
It’s child abuse, that poor child needs help not to have her delusions indulged.
