Michael Savage is a very well known radio talk personality. The Savage Nation is a nationally syndicated talk show that is the second most listened-to radio talk show in the country with an audience of over 20 million listeners on 400 stations across the United States...
Shortly thereafter, as Michael Savage discovered the issue and began discussing what was going on in/around the New York broadcast area, all Savage affiliates nationwide cut off the broadcast and replaced the live transmission with a recording of a previous show.

That's bullshit, I listened to his entire narcissistic, self absorbed, paranoid broadcast this afternoon here in Detroit on the "fire brand" WJR.............
I find it ironic that several years back when he was picked up by WJR for the two hour time slot of 3 - 5 p.m., he bragged about replacing Sean Hannity.
What he didn't reveal was that Hannity had switched his contract to another carrier not affiliated with WJR and instead had signed on to the "Patriot Network" which not only offered his program on 1400 a.m. but 92.7 FM and in a 3 hour time slot from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m...
Savage's biggest problem is that despite all his attacks on conservative radio hosts, they ignore him. And that drives him crazy since that denies him the legitimacy he feels he needs..............
Yes. He was still on in DC talking about being sabotaged in NYC. Our affiliate only carries 2 hours of his show so it I don’t know what happened afterwards but he was talking about Hillary and Parkinson’s. My favorite radio program....

This is odd. I’ve heard quite a bit of discussion of Hillary’s health on several different talk shows. This had to be a corporate decision(s) at some point as it started with WABC, then was followed by 400 stations cutting his show off near the same time.
This is just another example of what will happen to our ability to use the internet to fight the elitist globalism when the control of the internet is handed over to an international body.
This is in-your-face beyond the pale, ala ValJar “there’ll be hell to pay for opponents”.
Related - has there been discussion here about alternate non-internet sources (shortwave stations (freq?), in case of short and long term Internet interruptions?
Well prepared organizations strive to have comprehensive business continuity (comm’s) plans in case of disaster, be it from natural or man-made causes.

Savage is no longer affiliated with Clear Channel, his current contract is with Cumulus. And if your station is not affiliated with Cumulus, you won't get him..........
That's been Savage's common meme for several years now, that competitors have been dropped and he's taken their place because he's "more popular". That's been a flat out lie............Stations have switched from Clear Channel to Cumulus or Cumulus to Clear Channel and thus the contracted hosts such as Savage are picked up while others such as Hannity and Rush are dropped...........
There will be a tape delay.

Talked to Cruz and Duffy offices 9/26. McConnell’s tech person was supposed to call back...in meetings BUT NEVER DID...Cornyn office went to voicemail.
Cruz office: Suggested call McConnell! Senate needs to include language form both SB3031 and HR5418 in Continuing Resolution (CR). We need to light a fire~McConnell needs to make this a priority. Senator Cornyn is the Whip and has influence over what is brought to floor. They felt it was ok to contact Ryan too. Make this a priority!!!
Duffy office: They said getting senate bill to contain Protecting Internet Freedom Act language is critical...Much harder for House to move if the Senate does not have the language in the CR.
They believe Ryan is supportive of their efforts...He has supported prohibiting the transfer for past 2.5 years. They believe Democrats should be called in order to bring pressure on Obama to sign a CR with the language as well as our elected Congressional Reps.
Concern: Reason to pressure Dems...There is no guarantee that Obama would not veto the CR (even losing his coveted Zika funding) in order to be able to allow the ICANN and .mil .gov governance to go off shore to China or UN on Oct. 1...So need to pressure Dems—that means Democratic Senators and Pelosi and Reid.

I had heard at first it was just the New York affiliate, wow really disturbing that it was Nationwide. I am running computer in safe mode (yes, I have the blue screen of death) so I cannot play video now so could not watch the one on Conservative Tree house...How long did Savage stay on before he was censored?
