Wow. This is quite remarkable.
Michael Savage is a very well known radio talk personality. The Savage Nation is a nationally syndicated talk show that is the second most listened-to radio talk show in the country with an audience of over 20 million listeners on 400 stations across the United States...
Shortly thereafter, as Michael Savage discovered the issue and began discussing what was going on in/around the New York broadcast area, all Savage affiliates nationwide cut off the broadcast and replaced the live transmission with a recording of a previous show.

WABC can choose to cut to a show with a much smaller audience, but the feed was cut to all Savage’s 400 channels nationwide.
That would be a shame.

The recording of a previous show included references to several days of rain. I checked the weather in SF, and it had been sunny for at least two days.
I’m willing to bet that democrat operatives called stations and yelled and screamed. Station managers panicked.

As typical of Savage, he over reacted and went into meltdown mode when the answer was as simple as WABC losing his broadcast feed from California due to a glitch of some sort with AT&T........He's back on the air today in NY and was never pre-empted here in Detroit on WJR...........LOL!

Looks like you're wrong since the only station that was affected was WABC in NY. And the explanation was given by Savage in today's first 15 minutes of the program...........
As a side note, here in Detroit on WJR, there was no interruption whatsoever.......
I was basing that statement on the info from article and the poster where he wondered how they cut off Savage's show all over the country. I don't get Savage in my neck of the woods so I had no way to hear it myself.
