As violence escalated in Charlotte, N.C. Wednesday night, reporters became part of the story as protesters turned on the media.
CNN anchor Don Lemon stopped the broadcast feed as a CNN camera crew was confronted by rioters who attempted to block the camera yelling F**king liars!
As happens in these particular situations, the crowd gets out of control and then they try to assault or at least intimidate our camera people and our news people, Lemon said.
Fox News reporter Steve Harrigan got into a verbal confrontation with a woman he was interviewing when she accused him of wanting video to make a f**king fabricated story about what was going on.

“Charlotte protests turn violent”
“Situation becoming unsafe”
Sorry, reporters, it was violent and unsafe from the first minute. You are really idiots.
Remember when those Tea Partiers were rioting and viciously physically attacked those fake journalists who were trying to make them all look like Nazis? No?
Now the fake journalists are trying to make these thugs all look like MLK Jr. and they’re getting pummeled.
Maybe they’ll learn a lesson?
Oh, ha ha ha ha ha....man, sometimes I crack myself up.
"Hey, de baby said half a word today. He said mutha!"
I like it when the rioters attack the media. One will notice that when it is the media that are attacked, they are rioters. When it is the Citizens and police that are attacked, the attackers are protestors. The media go out and stir and agitate and lie it is about time they got a piece of the action.
Why capitalize black and not white?
Is it a form of virtue signaling?
IIRC, it was a black cop who shot the victim perp, right?
How would the moratorium imposed on reporting square in your brain with the First Amendment of the constitution? Minor obstacle, easily ignored?
We need Dan Rather and Katie Couric. /s
Sounds like there were some FReepers there.
Common ground exists? Who knew? Maybe there is hope! < /sarc >

Is the Guard there yet?
The police and the National Guard are between a rock and a hard place.
They try to keep it contain without too much force, knowing that it they overreach, the riots will gain in intensity and perhaps even spread.
Once Trump is elected and we have leadership at the top, the situation will change.
Knowing they have support at the very top, the police can clamp down hard and if it spreads or gains intensity, the police and NG will just clamp down harder.
This is all Obama's doing. He's still agitating.
Oops. I usually capitalize both. Black because that is what the Media does and White because they don’t deserve elevation above us. Sorry, I really do usually capitalize White, too.
Years ago, I took a Poly Sci course - interest group politics. The prof’s view was that we were moving away from traditional two party politics toward an issue based system that would pull together temporary coalitions of disparate folks on single issues.
So let’s find our allies against a biased corporate media where we can, realizing these aren’t going to be friends, or even co-belligerents on a long term basis.
remember how these same reporters and “media” outlets labeled the Tea party “dangerous, terroristic, bigoted dangerous haters”? Wow-—I can’t remember anything negative about the Tea party-—all I remember were waving flags, grandparents with grand kids and keeping it cleaner than we found it. Oh the horror-—Yet Americans STILL equate Tea partiers as angry, dangerous racists! I’m beginning to hate what this country has turned into-—
The problem is if the police start cracking heads, the optics of the ‘68 Chicago Dem convention will return.
The Dems don’t want that.
Don't try to calm the looters with the truth. They don't need or want or believe the truth.
They want new flat screen TV's.
I understand your point, but there’s something to be said for not tossing fuel onto a fire.
Many people have objected to reporting which, in some minds, ‘glamorizes’ mass murderers; basically giving them the attention they wanted in the first place, and inducing like-minded people to think further along lines of insanity that may not have resulted in action otherwise. I don’t see much difference here.
Volumes of truth to each word in your statement. Im serious.
I thought just the same.
Then I remembered...they do grunt! Just listen to any given rap song and you will hear a multitude of "uhn, uhn"s sprinkled among the "yeah"s and "knowwhatahmsayin"s. Funny.
We are witnessing the tragic legacy of Barack Hussein Obama. Everyone who voted for him is partially responsible for the shameful state of the our country. We need change. We need a new direction. We need to make America great again.
