Trump: I might vote for Clinton too if I were Bush
The Washington Examiner ^ | September 21, 2016 | Al Weaver

"Look, I fought his son very hard. It was a very tough battle — Jeb, and Jeb lost. He was expected to win," Trump told Time Warner News prior to a rally in North Carolina Wednesday. "He was expected to be the nominee and he lost."

"We're leading all over, and we seem to be doing very well. But I fought him and it was a very nasty contest. It was very nasty and I can understand that," Trump said. "Frankly, if I were him, maybe I'd go that direction too. Look, Jeb Bush signed a pledge. He didn't honor the pledge. They say it was a very nasty contest and it certainly was."

"But Jeb Bush didn't and I can understand how the Bush family feels," Trump added. "He was supposed to win. He was supposed to be the nominee. Not only wasn't he, he wasn't the nominee, but he didn't do very well."

I don’t think Rush belongs in that “basket”. He’s on board with Trump. Levin - he’s a disaster.

“And they still have big hopes for Jebs son, whatever his name is.”

I believe it’s George P Bush.
Silly Bushies, we once had a King George 3rd.
They don’t seem to remember how that worked out.

I like ole Jebby about two clicks north of Hillary.

My respect for GHWB is limited to his military service and getting the hell out of Iraq.

But “son” is a whole different ball game. Like my man Trump, I would be loyal to my son all the way.......no hold back.

How about if you were Ted Cruz? What would you do?

Yes, exactly. Even without the personal issue regarding Jeb, they still would support Hillary (as are so many other elite Republicans) on account of the globalism issues. Open borders (cheap labor express), trade policies that are detrimental to workers, “the new world order” - that’s like the holy grail for the Bush family.

With all the recent developments, I find myself inclined to think that the Bushes were ... a lie foisted on the American people. I find myself almost gaining a bit of respect for Perot.

They’ve managed to sink lower than Cruz, in my book, and at one point, I was going to vote for Cruz. No more.

Semper Fi. NGLO with 1st Battalion, 12th Marines

Semper Fidelis, NGLO. The lament of every Marine in this day of one-gun tin cans is that there is so little NG for you to L anymore. Long ago and far away, USS Tattnall, USS Virginia and USS New Jersey fired their guns for us and I remain forever grateful. Fire for effect!

You know Jessie Ventura in his book Democrips and Rebloodlicans wrote about some of the things that are going on now with the elites and really this does not surprise me and lets face it, we have an establishment that are in both parties, and they do not give a damn about us one bit.

Yes, but it’s beyond that: They are globalists, and they don’t want Trump to upset the apple cart.

Poppy Bush is very arrogant and so I’m sure he’s personally offended by the joke that Jeb is, which no doubt he blames On Trump.

But this endorsement for Hillary is about keeping the New World Order advancing forward.

How out of touch are the elites? The top pick Uniparty candidates were a third Bush and a second Clinton. 318M people in the US and those were their picks.

They need proven, reliable puppets. A long family history is the usual screening method of corrupt aristocracies. I don't think as badly of the Bushes as some. I sure prefer them to Mike Dukakis, Al Gore and John Kerry. But it's long past the time when a caretaker president can preserve the country. We need to stop immigration, end offshoring and fight global political assimilation.

Trump's rapid ascent shows that the elites are right to screen their candidates. At any time previous candidates could have used the same powerful issues to beat the Democrats. Indeed, the demographics were more favorable in 1992, 2008 and 2012. But in every case the elite screened, tamed candidates "wouldn't go there" and risk the wrath of the open borders gangsters.

It's no accident that McCain and Romney are both sons of elite figures. They drank in globalism and liberal ideals with their mother's milk.

Great to hear! Yes, it's a shame the Navy guns have gone away. Maybe Trump will bring them back!

Interesting story. I made a Westpac deployment with the Marines on the USS Okinawa back in a day, maybe 1978.

And on the deployment, I roomed with a Navy doctor and a couple of Marine captains.

So here I am 35 years later scanning Free Republic and somebody mentions a Marine general named "Mad Dog" Mattis and posts his picture.

I did a double take on the picture and sure enough discovered that Captain Jim Mattis was indeed my bunkmate. I remember him as one of the most dedicated and humble guys I had ever met in the service.
