California professor reportedly rips down Sept. 11 memorial posters (RAGING LIBERAL ALERT)

Students at a southern California community college say campus leaders canceled a Sept. 11 memorial and a professor tore down "Never Forget" remembrance posters.

A conservative group of students at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo released video footage Thursday of a history professor ripping down posters with images showing various terrorists acts and the words “Never Forget," according to the College Fix.

The video shows history professor Margot Lovett telling the students -- who are members of the Young Americans for Freedom group -- that they did not have permission to hang the posters.

Lovett, who is chairwoman of the history department, reportedly endorsed a statement in 2001 blaming U.S. imperialism for the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Lovett moved to remove the posters after campus leaders tried to shut down the student group's previously approved 9/11 memorial, the website reported.

Her official webpage at Saddleback College is no longer available. I am guessing that she got some unwelcome visits. From other sites, I see that she emphasizes women’s studies and African-American studies. One student at “RateMyProfessor’ says that she emphasizes the “dark side” of history, and that students have to conform to her opinions in class in order to get a good grade. so you know that she is busy smearing the USA and requiring the students to regurgitate her thoughts. This is the indoctrination that students receive today.

It would be better if they didn’t go to college. Or the “General Education’ requirements should be greatly decreased or eliminated all together.

Fortunately for me, I was in college from 1958 to 1962. The profs were good, solid people who wanted us to learn and think, not just to spit back what was in the lecture or in the books. Feminism had not raised it head yet. The faculty, both male and female were too busy teaching to worry about the crap that all the liberals now feel obliged to stuff in our faces. I would not have done well in Lovett’s class. I was confident enough to argue like hell if I was right. I was a B-C+ student that could not spare an agenda grade from a woman like her. I would have taken the advice to AVOID.

There is a chain of command, even in colleges. If the teacher had a problem she should have reported it to admin and let admin deal with it. Taking down posters and wadding up posters are two levels apart. If it were my call I’d give her 30 days suspension without pay as an example to other teachers they do not have final word on anything.
