If you wondered what the internal focus grouped feedback was to Secretary Clintons Commander-in-Chief forum presentation, you only need to note that first thing this morning her campaign hastily scheduled a press conference on the tarmac of the airport.
Clintons first press conference in 278 days.
Essentially the press conference was typical Clintonian deflection and complaints about media coverage of her performance. From the video it appears four questions were agreed upon, but another was taken by Andrea Mitchell.
Obviously the sycophants in the traveling Clinton press poll (all pre-approved by the campaign) did not ask any substantive questions
. And thats the reason for doing the presser on the tarmac, as opposed to a formally scheduled press conference where a full press corps would ask more targeted questions.
No more than 6 questions.
Those were pre-approved except for 1 or 2.
Selected reporters only.
Lasted only 15 minutes.
This is not a press conference.
Press conference? Looked more like a fan club meeting to me.
Obviously not. Has it been promoted as one by the Clinton camp?
Her opening statement which she read was over a third of the entire “press conference” leaving about 10 min for Q&A.
If we had any true journalists in this day and age, they would be appalled and offended by this being called a “press conference”.
Agreed, it’s still been 279 days, 14 hours, and 49 minutes since her last press conference!!
Yes. Dobbs and Hannity have addressed the claim it was a press conference.
“Did you have a nice Labor Day, Madame Secretary?”
They just pulled out the biggest butt kissers from her ‘plane’ and offered them a few on-air bites they could call a press conference. Kabuki.....Where’s the video? Was she in a wheel chair or up on a Hannibal Lecter dolly? Where’s the beef?
It was not even remotely a press conference. It was just a re-do to compensate for her dismal appearance on the CIC Forum. All done under her control and under her terms.
Instead of military veterans, the fawning press was her audience this time.
Do you prefer your pink or your green pantsuit?
IPhone or Android?
Today’s “journalists” have all been bought and paid for. They are nothing but props and propagandists.
I read that even that “last press conference” in Dec. 2015 was a total joke and not a free format presser, so it may be much longer indeed since Shrillary has had a “REAL” presser. Does she EVER submit to open unscripted questions from a non-selected group of reporters????
When your detailed schedule is released later this month, will it show that you used a Government plane, C-12 Huron, for a failed trip to meet with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in December 2012? What did your head strike to cause a massive and severe head injury requiring two hospital stays and brain surgery? Which “home” did the fall occur? Was a 9-1-1 call made? Was there an ambulance transport? Did any of your staff catch the same flu? Did the flu come on in Dublin? How did you get from Dublin to your home (which home?) in the US? Were you sick on that flight or when traveling?
If Hillery was a Republican she’d be in jail.
Yep.
Even had secret service agents obscure the view of her feeble attempt to exit from the shielded side of her Scooby van.
Bended knees and other positions might reveal medical devices under her clothing. She walks like a clown at the circus on stilts.
bless her heart.
It was a ‘press conference’ in a way, emphasis on the CON; just like the rest of her ‘campaign’.
At the first debate, Trump should take out a pen and paper and keep track of how many questions Hillary answers, and he should answer exactly that many and no more. She usually filibusters with six memorized responses to six questions that have been fed to her prior to the phony debates. Trump should not be required to answer any more questions than she is asked. Since he is straight-forward in his answers, this would be the shortest debate in history. Debates are for the entertainment of the Democrat media, whose goal is to bombard the Republican candidate with a barrage of “gotcha” questions. Pull the plug on that, Donald. The nation would be grateful.
