It’s likely encrypted traffic. They best you could do is jam the frequency range, you wouldn’t be able to listen in, or substitute your own message.
Incidentally, even consumer grade transceivers are digitally encrypted nowadays, which is great, because with remote controlled planes there is no longer any chance of one control interfering with another. All the planes operate on the same frequency, but the encryption is different for each.

The Media was not as blatant during the campaign in 2000 as they are today but MSNBC did call Florida early while the Panhandle was still voting. Aside from that, I see many similarities between the 2000 Campaigns and today. If you recall the debates, Gore was snarky, Mr. know it all, and he lost every single debate to the plain talking Bush. Al was also a dull, stiff Wooden Indian while campaigning and his running mate was a moderate. Lets see how this one plays out.
