Leftists have reminded the world just how much they hated Phyllis Schlafly. As news of the conservative author and activist’s death spread, Twitter was deluged with tweets celebrating her death.
While most of the tweets were from ordinary members of the public, many others came from columnists and commentators. Here’s Jeb Lund, a columnist for The Guardian.

Full disclosure: that’s pretty much how I’ll roll when George Soros kicks.
If I had a national or international voice, I’d use some restraint. As a private citizen, if I throw a party for the end of Soros, no big deal.
Except Soros does evil things. Certainly so in the eyes of those who love the American Republic. Hatred makes sense for a guy like that.
Schlafly was simply an advocate for liberty.
The left’s hatred for her is both irrational and condemnable.
Not to worry. By tomorrow, almost all of these bloggers will be forgotten or remain unknowns for the rest of their miserable lives but Phyllis Schafly’s name will be praised, if not revered by millions of sane Americans.
As for hardcore leftists and stupids, I rejoice in their ceasing to produce a carbon footprint, to pollute the air with the sounds of their ignorance and hate, and to feel good that worms will be getting a meal (whether it is nourishing or not, I’m not sure).
For the worst of them, I offer my philosophy:
“Outlive the bastards and traitors; keep better files; and piss on their graves (i.e. recycling precious water)”.
The worst pollution of the earth is the existence of leftist fools and Marxists. They pollute the air with the sound of their treason and stupidity. They have a carbon footprint that exists for too long (Castro is in his 90’s); and they poison the human mind.
Where is the EPA when you need them?
When Soros goes, I will be sad that he condemned himself to h3ll for eternity, but happy for the rest of us. The man is pure evil.

Leftists acknowledge no one but themselves as having integrity and legitimate beliefs. They consider themselves as the only legitimacy - everyone else is not only wrong, but evil and deserving of a horrible death.
They call their point of view “peace” and “sanity.”
I got in trouble for singing “Ding dong the Witch is dead, the witch is dead” as I walked around at work on the day that Anne Richards died.
This accomplishes absolutely nothing save how formidable an adversary she was and how much she frustrated Leftists in her life who are people that are selfish and unscrupulous in the extreme.
Phyllis would probably be tickled that she finally motivated those liberals into some kind of action ;-)
I was reading how she helped defeat the Equal Rights amendment which could have required women to register for the draft, be forced at work to lift heavy materials, and it would have negated some of the special treatment women were afforded.Some states did pass equal pay for equal work laws.At some points even unions were as anti ERA as she was.
Goofball singer Mojo Nixon and punk Jello Biafra recorded Will the Fetus Be Aborted, a pro abortion song set to the tune of Will the Circle Be Unbroken.One verse mentions her:

That stuff is okay. I’m rooting for Hillary’s blood clot.
The great thing is Phyllis doesn’t care. I’ve no doubt she lived a life of joy and blessing. She’s fought the good fight and gone on to a good reward. One day I’ll shake her hand and say, “Thank you.”
Mrs. Schlafly is a lawyer and served as a member of the Commission on the Bicentennial of the U.S. Constitution, 1985-1991, appointed by President Reagan. She has testified before more than 50 Congressional and State Legislative committees on constitutional, national security, and family issues.
Mrs. Schlafly is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Washington University/St. Louis, received her J.D. from Washington University Law School, and received her Master’s in Political Science from Harvard University. She received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Washington University. She was named one of the 100 most important women of the 20th century by the Ladies’ Home Journal. The mother of six children, she was the 1992 Illinois Mother of the Year.
Phyllis Schlafly helped to invent the conservative movement in 1964 by selling 3 million copies of her first book A Choice Not An Echo. Then she helped to invent the pro-family movement in the 1970s by bringing thousands of new people into the political process to defeat the so-called Equal Rights Amendment. In a 10-year battle, Phyllis taught the grassroots conservatives how to win despite the opposition of three Presidents, nearly all public officials, 99% of the media, and even Hollywood.
Phyllis Schlafly is America’s most articulate and successful opponent of the radical feminist movement. She has appeared on virtually every national television and radio talk show and has lectured or debated on more than 500 college and university campuses. Mrs. Schlafly is the founder and president of Eagle Forum, a national organization of citizens who participate as volunteers in the public policymaking process.
When the publisher of the St. Louis Globe-Democrat presented her with the Woman of Achievement Award in 1963, he said: “Phyllis Schlafly stands for everything that has made America great and for those things which will keep it that way.”
President Ronald Reagan gave Phyllis Schlafly this tribute at a national meeting in 1984:

Just think. As they crow over her death, these vicious people think that Phyllis Schlafly has ceased to exist. Ha ha.
You are correct and Mrs. Schlafly was quite aware of their hate, lies and disdain. I am sure she expected nothing less than this as they did same after Judge Scalia’s murder...I mean untimely demise.
