Biggest problem isn’t corporate welfare, it’s government employment welfare and pensions. Bigger issue than SS IMO.

Mr Trump, Here is PROOF that we can save Obamacare. All you need to do is this:

President Trump could easily issue 2 Executive Orders:

1. All Federal Employees and Retired Federal Employees, SHALL enroll in and purchase their own Personal and Family Health Insurance from the Affordable Care Act Exchange in the State they “Legally” reside in. No Taxpayer Funds Shall be used for ANY Health Insurance for ANYONE.

2. Any STATE that does not have ALL PUBLIC EMPLOYEES and Public Employee Retirees enroll in and purchase their own Personal and Family Health Insurance from the Affordable Care Act Exchange in their State, SHALL receive NO FEDERAL FUNDING FOR EDUCATION.

PROBLEM SOLVED, MILLIONS of NEW ENROLLEE’S that are NOT ELIGIBLE for Subsidies will Save the Affordable Care Act, and BANKRUPT THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES NATIONWIDE, A WIN WIN!!

22 MILLION New Enrollee’s that DO NOT QUALIFY for Subsidies will SAVE OBAMACARE!!!!

They all compound each other. The former is designed to lead to the latter.

Wow, between the Universities and Government positions looks like the “LEFT” is the largest employer, no wonder PA won’t swing for Trump, it’s sad too, because Ohio isn’t the key, it’s PA, and they’re not thinking clearly, or at least thinking with what is best for the country.

Manufacturing — Creates wealth

Government — consumes wealth, produces nothing useful, suffocates private enterprise with taxes and regulations.

This is why we can’t downsize government. The economy would collapse and there would be mayhem.

All non-military government employees should start at minimum wage. No pension or retirement for non military service.

Absurd to excuse the continued growth of government in that manner. Its growth is what will result in the economy collapsing and said mayhem.

I think downsizing is the wrong way to look at it. I think the focus should be privatizing. the economics would work its way out over time.

Yeah when Big Steel collapsed around here Big Government swooped in and filled the vacuum as the leading employer.

Was even worse over on Johnstown where John Murtha steered tractor trailer loads of pork patronage into town every day.

The elites decided to rebuild the local economy on Eds and Meds. They got their wish. A vote for fiscal conservatism is now a vote to put yourself out of work.

Well speaking for the formally great state of California. In the 70s then Gov. Jerry (moonbeam) Brown UNIONIZED state workers.
WE NOW HAVE 270 BILLION IN UNFUNDED GOVERNMENT UNION PENSION DEBT.

In the 70s the same Jerry Brown as Gov. gave away water rights at no cost back to other states and has then left us suffering with droughts ever since.
So BECAUSE JERRY GAVE OUR WATER AWAY 45 YEARS AGO we had to double our cost of wTer and watch our lawns die?

At least for our state, if you know the history at all you realize Jerry Brown for us has been one of the worst tragedies California has ever suffered.
State also has had super majorities in State Houses causing massive taxation, regulation and even much more ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION having passed state laws making the use of E-verify illegal to use now in California since Jan. 2016.
