Good Morning America co-anchor Amy Robach has apologized for saying colored people on Mondays broadcast of the ABC program.
We no longer use the term colored people, although once upon a time that was a term in use, McDowell said. Now the preferred usage is people of color ..."

“You can say people of color but you cant say colored people. “
In the former, people is used first; in the latter colored is used first.
Whitey’s Fault!
Except for the inconvenient fact that there’s no victimhood payoff to it, should I insist on being included in the group, People of White?
Some time ago, it was agreed in these precincts that People of Hump was the PC version of that old slur, hunchback.
Meanwhile is sexistville.
Not guilty.
“So, I suppose the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People also objects to the term Colored People?”
It needs to be NAAA, Nat. Assoc. of African Americans.
I’m a person of color. Sort of a beige.
Lamont: “Was the guy colored?”
Fred Sanford: “Yeah, he was colored. He was colored white!”
Off with her head!
Black is not a color; a black object absorbs all the colors of the visible spectrum and reflects none of them to the eyes. The grey area about black: A black object may look black, but, technically, it may still be reflecting some light. he he Black is the absence of color, which our brain visualizes to us in some way.
How about off-white people. Shady people. Dark people. Someday “people of color” will be a no-no, and they’ll be called brown people. Doesn’t matter, the stigma and revulsion in use of a term is because of what the term represents. If you take pride in what your skin color represents, you accept the term and don’t get riled at it. Maybe they would be happy being called rainbow people - except that was taken by the butt bangers. A lot of us are cynical, and it isn’t going to end.
Amy, you ignorant slut!
We can’t say “colored people”, but is “people of color” still okay? This is insanity. How can anybody ever think creatively if they go along with this PC BS?
And there it is.
Please do not use “butt bangers” and “end” in the same paragraph.
“People of Color” is such a progressive erudite way of expressing it, but “Colored People” is ignorant and offensive.
Get it?
