CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- An 18-year-old Charlotte, N.C., college student who was ejected from Thursday's Donald Trump rally says he went from avid backer to disillusioned opponent after Trump's security accused him of being a known protester.
Jake Anantha, who registered as a Republican and cast his first primary vote for Trump, was wearing a Trump shirt when police removed him from the Charlotte Convention Center before the rally began. He and his father, Ramesh Anantha, say they believe he was profiled because of his dark skin. "It's unbelievably ironic," said Ramesh Anantha, whose parents emigrated from India. He says his son, as a young person of color appearing at a rally where the Republican presidential nominee touted his support for people of color, "should have been looked at as a perfect Trump supporter. He should have been somebody they're putting up on stage."
Because he’s registered and someone here ‘knows his father’ and all that, then why was he hooked up with Rose Hamid.
The Daily Mail (UK) has pictures of them together and describe that he was helping her hand out “Salam means Peace” pens at the rally. Is this a lie?
See #61. Exactly why would this ‘registered Republican’ be helping Rose Hamid to pass out those Rose pens? This is what the Daily Mail UK reported.
I’ll tell you why I think he got thrown out. He very likely was observed helping this Muslim agitator (who has a history of the same agitprop) pass out pens. He certainly was profiled - because of the company he chose to associate himself with it seems.
islamist facilitation
She’s listed as “white” and her full name is Rose Mary Hamid. She’s been registered to vote since 1987
And that means what? The arab dress and headscarf and the “Salam Means Peace” T-shirt and pens is “white?” Look at the woman’s face being thrown out. She’s smirking and smiling. She achieved her objective in the first place.
just FYI
just adding to conversation
“The Daily Mail (UK) has pictures of them together and describe that he was helping her hand out Salam means Peace pens at the rally. Is this a lie?”
More than likely, yes. Are you giving a great deal of legitimacy to everything the news media tells you now?
When I want to see the real story, especially in pictures that describes events with narrative, I always go to a BRIT site. You won’t EVER see the same depth and breadth of pictures and story the American leftist media won’t tell you on their best day.
There is no justification from anything you can see in American media to come back with “it is more than likely a lie” based on their nonexistent reporting. They’re all too concentrated on the “Half-Indian blah blah blah story” to be objective. Same words (not their usual PC,BTW) over and over. They all collude to feed us mushrooms their daily dose of bullsh!t.
It isn’t that I believe so much in media; it is that I don’t believe so much in media, especially traditional western and American media. The fact that these UK sites at least give you more of the story is just a benefit of a drive to make money through actual reporting.
If the kid and his parents really are as you describe them, then why on earth would they play into the hands of the liberals by making the comments they are making now?
Lets assume for a moment that the kid really was removed from the event by mistake. Wouldn't he and his parents simply say nothing to the media, or explain that it had to be a mistake since the kid was a supporter of Trump?
No real Trump supporters would say what they are saying at this point.
Maybe you should call your friends up and ask them what on earth they are doing. And enlighten us all with their response.
Thank you....I was just wondering why that was, that’s all....thanks. :0)
From the UK article it looks like he is associating himself with the woman with the pens... also why is he wearing 2 T shirts can you ask him what the white t-shirt underneath the Trump t-shirt had on it....any logos or pictures on it?
“Honestly, I wasnt trying to be a smart ass.”
I didn’t take it that way.
RE the UK newspaper... I live in NC so it gives me a tickle to see little ‘ol Charlotte in the UK paper.
Of course this is a setup. Jake Anantha is no more of a Trump supporter than is William Kristol, Jeb Bush, W. Bush or HW Bush.
They happened to catch a pic of them standing side by side and you think it’s evidence that he’s a plant who is working with this woman to create a story that casts Trump in a negative light?
“Thus if Jake Anantha was ejected it is because he was guilty by association. Better learn about those you keep company with.”
By that logic, we are members of the KKK.
? I don’t know anyone connected with the KKK. I certainly don’t get myself innocently caught in a picture with any of them.
No ...that is not what I was thinking, I asked you that to find out what was going on. So you are saying that the two of them did not know each other?
The media seems to be trying to tie them both together...
So although I’m a stranger on the internet, you have to admit that the author of the Daily Mail article is also a stranger on the internet.
Of the two of us, you choose to believe the news media (that has consistently show an obvious and intentional bias against all things conservative) rather than a fellow freeper?
Interesting how you value the weight of evidence here. By the same level of paranoia that you exhibit, I could assume you are a liberal plant on Free Republic designed to exacerbate the circular firing squad.
See how ridiculous that sounds?
No but if you’re going to use “guilty by association” because of a picture of two people side by side, then someone could also use guilt by association to say that all conservatives are white supremacists because some white supremacists are conservatives. That’s actually stronger evidence that a random picture.
Because if there's one thing I look for in a candidate, it's the quality of his security guard's memory for protestors.....
