Under the guise of providing increased “security” for “critical infrastructure,” the Obama administration is plotting to insert itself and the federal government into the American elections process. While voting is constitutionally the responsibility of state and local officials, Obama's Homeland Security Secretary, Jeh Johnson, pointed to the alleged threat of cyberattacks to justify the latest proposed usurpation of power. The controversial scheme was floated amid growing national concerns, fueled in part by GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump's warnings of a “rigged” election, that America's electoral system might be vulnerable to major manipulation. Critics and experts, though, warned that the White House scheming may be a first step toward illegally nationalizing the electoral process — with all the dangers that would entail.
Homeland Security boss Johnson, a leading luminary behind Obama's illegal amnesty plot, has said repeatedly said in recent weeks that the administration was thinking of issuing a decree declaring elections to be “critical infrastructure” in need of supposed federal oversight and “protection.” “We should carefully consider whether our election system, our election process is critical infrastructure, like the financial sector, like the power grid,” Johnson told reporters in Washington earlier this month. “There's a vital national interest in our electoral process.” In a phone call with state officials, he reiterated those comments, offering “help” with elections.

In an odd way that might apply here. If Obama invokes Trump he would need Trump’s approval for this to be an accepted process. If Trump ‘created’ this controversy, he could destroy this ‘solution’.
The status quo is what our current congress relies on. I doubt that nationalized elections would be popular among them either.

Paper copies are a must, but they should be stored for ten years IMHO.
And, every vote should have a code number attached to it. AFTER voting is complete, electronic voting can post online the votes of each code number and also be handed dummy code numbers in case someone tries to intimidate the voter into showing his/her number. Seeking the vote of a dummy number could be a red flag for law enforcement. There could even be a chemicle which dies the hand if the wrong slip is peeled.
Each voter can look up his/her voting online and come forward with correct slip if his/her vote failed to match correctly.

Even UPI agrees that Johnson called it a crtical infrastructure.
So the department of homeland might demand certain standards be met. That does not mean that we are forced to a single standard [for all I know it might], but it does infringe on the bedrock of a democratic republic regardless.
Johnson interprets that the power legislated to him gives him authority to regulate voting machines since terrorists could hack into our voting machines and disrupt public tranquility, national security, etc.
It’s being touted as ‘setting standards’. So while we might not be required to subject ourselves to one specific voting machine, he can cherry pick classifications of cyber-security through a partizan eye.

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson announced a $41.2 billion budget request Monday for the 2016 fiscal year.
The budget would improve the unity of effort at the department, Johnson said, focusing on harmonizing DHS business processes. Along with the budget, a new Common Appropriations Structure was also submitted to Congress, which would standardize financial planning, programming and budgets for all DH agencies, Johnson said.
There are five areas the department focuses on each year, and the budget is in alignment with those five missions, Johnson said.

<><> The next mission is to secure and manage the countrys borders, and reduce the number of illegal immigrants and amount of contraband getting into the United States.

<><> The fourth mission deals with safeguarding and securing cyberspace, which impacts economic security. The 2016 budget would invest in technology and staff to reduce cybercrime and improve the security of federal network defenses.
<><> The fifth mission, Johnson said, is to strengthen national preparedness and resilience so the country can prepare and respond to any type of disaster.
Johnson said before Congress approves any funding for the next fiscal year lawmakers should approve funding for the current year.
The Presidents FY 2016 Budget provides the resources necessary for the Department of Homeland Security to further strengthen our efforts to fulfill our wide-ranging missions, while also being agile and vigilant in the face of ever-evolving threats and recent world events, Johnson said. But prior to acting on the FY 2016 Budget, I urge Congress to fully fund DHS for the rest of this fiscal year, as the current continuing resolution is disruptive, creates uncertainty, and impedes efficient resource planning and execution.

While we were trashing Bill for being trash, she was doing backroom deals that resulted in power grabs, damage to our nation, and many deaths.

She can’t be seen in public, because she is a mental basket case. She knows what she has been up to. Even she can’t bear to face it. No human could.

Now. Is this the ultimate lowered expectations ploy?
We’ll see at the first debate. If she comes out sharp as a tack and scoring hit after hit on Trump, that could be.
This election cycle has been by far the most interesting and dynamic of my lifetime and it isn’t over yet.
The stakes have never been higher, except at the Founding of our nation.
Where we go from here, is up to us. Anyone staying home on our side, just hasn’t been paying attention, or doesn’t have the tools to grasp it.

After that, though, they had to get the reuirements to apply in each STATE - to bridge the gap between this federal law regarding voter registration and the Constitutional requirement that Senate and Presidential elections be administered only by the STATES. And the person who brought that case to force the federal law onto the individual states’ requirements for the elections they administer was..... Barack Obama. The patriot movement behind Donald Trump is very strong. It's something we all must fight for and to not give up. Despite this leftist culture throwing millions and millions of dollars and abusing the power of their press to try to destroy him, it hasn't had that much effect. I truly believe the patriotic American people are fed up and that's why they can't touch him.
This is a start to bringing those traitors to justice but we just can't give up. The United States, in world history has been a shining beacon of our God-given liberties and freedoms. It's well worth the fight for our children and grandchildren to continue this for their future.
It's very possible this movement is Divinely inspired to return the US to that shining beacon of liberty and freedom. I continue to hope and pray this is the case and for the corrupt leftist culture to continue to be exposed. It is really up to all of us, so please, don't lose faith.

Can’t disagree with anything you’ve said, and I haven’t given up. But at times, it can be extremely disheartening. I have never before in my life felt so uncertain about the future of this country than I do today.

My mother felt uncertain when she saw live footage of Waco that was never shown again. I didn’t believe her until ‘96 when Ron Brown’s wife said that the Clintons weren’t welcome to his funeral. She later recanted, but that was one weird hour of shifting news.
Then I found Paul Weyrich’s satellite TV program, NET. I still think that the Clintons did want to launch a coup on Y2K, but people were so ready for it that he blinked and decided instead to make fools of them.

I’m no doctor, but I could swear that’s a panic attack.
I have vocal cord dysfunction. Sometimes I collapse to the floor because vocal cords block my breathing. Been avoiding situations where that happens.
Doctors were CERTAIN that it was panic attacks. And VCD can cause panic and create cycles of panic. So that’s where I’m coming from, and this from a guy who was certain that death is no big deal.
With her lack of spiritual faith? Panic attacks could likely be her problem.
