Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett held a news conference, where he commended the work of the city’s first responders, the amazing restraint police have had while dealing with the unrest, and the saying that a curfew will be imposed until order is restored. The state’s National Guard has been activated, though they will not be deployed unless Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn deems it necessary.
They city has been thrown into turmoil over the officer-involved shooting of Sylville Smith. Barrett said that the officer was wearing a body-cam at the time of the shooting. He didn’t see the full video, but a still that clearly shows Smith was armed. He also had a firearm with an extended magazine; 23 rounds were found in it. Over at Hot Air, Ed mentioned how Gov. Scott Walker wants that video to be released as soon as possible. For now, it remains in the possession of the state of Wisconsin pending an investigation.

What the police need to do is separate the agitators from the herd and send a message that this will no longer be tolerated.

AND use any racist comments they can collect off the internet to raise money...

Let’s not be rash, let’s use incrementalism, so maybe a few among the mob learn their lesson, even if they have to learn the hard way.

Don’t call them protesters,they are rioters.
Once the first car is tipped over,shot fired,store looted,or fire set, it goes from being a protest to a riot.
As far as I’m concerned——just give warning and get rid of them by any means necessary. .

I had the unfortunate pleasure of listening to NPR. They had on some stupid ignorant state representative basically justifying the violence. In one breath she claims “we need to let the justice system work” while saying “but this shows we are a community hurting and we need to show love” AND “he didn’t need to be shot he had his CCW and was allowed to carry a gun.”
STUPID COW! He was a felon in posession.
Those officers showed great composure and patience.
If Clintoon becomes our Potus, she will disarm us and make us like the poor guy below, running for his life! His crime, being a Trump supporter in San Jose earlier this year. He was run down by a Somali Islamic. The worthless Liberal San Jose Mayor and LaRaza police chief made sure their cops didn’t stop the violence against Trump supporters. San Jose has very strict gun control laws.
