You may well have never thought about it but people born in China since 1980 have no siblings. China is a society with no aunts, uncles or cousins. Ever consider that that? For the most part if you are 34 years or younger you have no brothers or sisters. Neither does anybody else. Meaning no aunts, uncles or cousins...
To make matters worse, restricting families to just one child placed a disproportionate value on baby boys, particularly in rural areas. Boys are stronger, boys can do more work. Of China’s 3+ decades of state-forced abortions or infanticide, the overwhelming majority of babies destroyed were little girls. What happens to a society & culture when all of a sudden its men have no potential mates? When there simply aren’t enough women to go around for tens of millions men? One thing we know happens – a black market for women. Organized crime elements in other parts of the region/world grab women off the streets (or wherever they can find them), force them into trafficking/slave networks, and sell them. And the other possibilities aren’t nearly as pleasant.

The reasons are different but there’s a lot of that in Europe, particularly along the Med.

Our government rewards fatherless families with welfare, housing, medical care, free food, free phones, free internet, etc. And the more fatherless kids in the family, the more money she gets.

Our adopted Chinese daughter turned 15 yesterday. Our Chinese son is 13.
Suppose that one, in researching his/her own genealogy, discovers that a great-grandparent was one of two children born in the mid-1800's to an unwed mother who raised her children by herself. Suppose that the same great-grandparent became the father of 17 children (two wives), all of whom married and produced multiple children, whose generations continue to today in the 21st Century.
Then, the genealogy buff looks at the hundreds, and potentially thousands of descendants from that mother of the great-grandfather, including himself, realizes that had that young unwed mother followed the advice of today's "progressive" leaders, including the current presidential candidate, given the young girl's poverty and age, then neither that researcher, nor any of the other hundreds of descendants of that one young mother would have lived, nor made the outstanding contributions they made to life in their communities and nation.
One must conclude that one abortion does not take one life: it takes the lives of all succeeding generations.
Kudos to you for adopting children who need a home. May I ask—were they “second” children in China? Certainly a couple who is only allowed to have one child wouldn’t put that baby up for adoption. Or perhaps they would if the baby was female. Not trying to be snarky, I’m just wondering about other aspects of China’s one-child policy.

A girl Chinese baby raised in the US is an increasingly valuable item. Finesse women are paying big bucks to come here and have an anchor baby. Those little girls should demand some big bucks from Chinese millionaires.

Without Virtue habituated in children, there is no possibility of Freedom-—no Free Will, no Individual Natural Rights from God (won’t even understand that concept).
You need to have your children in REAL LIFE HUMAN interactions situations (God’s Design with biological mother and father to humanize)-—with their mother/father/siblings to understand Reality/Truth/Self and learn how to be “human” and what it means to be human and male and female-—have Virtue (control inner emotions with Reason).
Look how any mammal removed from their parent “thrives”/NOT—they are WARPED and incapable of being “normal”. They are designed to survive in REALITY (Nature). but interference with Nature WARPS THEM——more so with human beings. Removing them from biological parents will result in abuse, rape, etc., since there is no natural “attachment”/bonds which prevent incest, etc. All stats prove this true—children are safest in mother/father paradigm (biological).
Look at when apes allow strangers, even male apes, to come close to their babies/young. What do they know that we don’t???? That bond is essential and safety is essential to emotional healthy apes. Relatives are the only ones ever allowed by infant and not for many months. (Natural Instincts are learned by observing the reactions/emotions of the mother—and being with her at all times to discern danger that they are incapable of conceiving until after several years of life. Humans it is more like 7 years-—so children NEED their mothers/fathers to be emotionally HEALTHY and feel SAFE and to READ EMOTIONS properly.
This is ALL BY DESIGN of the Lucifereans who created Communism—the Bolsheviks and Mao’s China.....ALL planned for the NWO where they are the gods and determine “good and evil” and can kill off billions as George Bernard Shaw (Fabian Socialist) wanted.
Chinese people are happy with crumbs and sub-humanism. They are not Free. They have inhumane living conditions which is all group centered—collectives, communes. There is no Free Will and Individialism allowed-—although it is impossible for children raised in a collective to even conceive of Free Will and Individualism. Jesuits found out the psychological results of collectivism embedded in young children in Inca cultures, etc. (No possibility of thinking outside the State-controlled “box” ). No possibility of a Jefferson, a John Locke, or an Adam Smith.
BTW, that is the aim of the John Dewey Curricula put in place in 1930 in America. The humanists/Communists/Globalists infiltrated ALL our institutions starting in the 30s and long before with Pres. Wilson. They created all the Wars—to annihilate the Christians and destroy Churches (Christianity is the only ideology that is opposite Communism). They are incompatible.
How to create critical thinking skills in children (like in the Age of Reason/US Constitutional Convention).
1. Living in a Natural Family where understanding of Truth/non-warped emotions and self-reliance is embedded in the subconscious for the first 7 years of life (at least).
2. A system which doesn’t pit parents and state against each other-—Classical Education (Christian creation in West) where the Socratic Dialectic is learned-—both sides of the argument (Rhetoric) is instilled and the Aristotelian Logic-—all fallacies so that Truth can be discerned by adults. BUT YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THE TRUE HISTORY —not the lies and misinformation given in all textbooks now.
We need to replace our “schools” with complete local control of everything-—not State strings-—nothing. Get government out of the Natural Family-—they have the DUTY to promote Natural Duties in all men—that is what our “Justice System” in America is based on-—the Natural Law, Objective Truth, and God’s Design of Man-—not Marx’s warped utopian idea where the concept of mother and father never exists and history is ALL rewritten (irrational).
And those who do have children have them late, so no Grandparents (or at least no Grandparents their kids will remember) either.
