Many of my close friends in the conservative movement are NeverTrumpers. As a result, I find myself in an awkward position. The NeverTrumpers are appealing to their conservative friends based on emotional claims that I recognize as false, deluded, and selfish. One friend said, "Who wins the election does not matter as much as the need to vote one's conscience." This statement is stunningly prideful and childish. The voting booth is not a ride at Six Flags, and elections are not part of a consumer experiences. The White House is not Burger King, where you get things your way.

Of course who wins the election is more important than your precious conscience or how you feel about voting. Your country matters more than you do. Has America become so weak and self-absorbed that people no longer understand what it means to say, "It's not all about you, honey"?

I guess that's why I could never be a libertarian.

Part of the impasse between me and NeverTrumper friends is that they have never actually sat down and listened to the full horrors that I endured firsthand, which make it undeniable to me that this election is about stopping Hillary Clinton and saving America. Some games are won by offense, and others are won by defense; elections follow that pattern. We have to vote against things sometimes.

Medved is a propagandist for the Cheap Labor Express.
He has been trying to convince his listeners for years that we can’t secure the border or enforce the laws and we have no choice but amnesty. Just like all the politicians he supports.
In every election since the last amnesty the GOP has nominated an amnesty candidate.
They got Trumped this time and they don’t like it.
There has been a bipartisan policy of non-enforcement of our borders and immigration laws.
The illegal alien inundation was INTENTIONAL.
The powers that be do not intend to allow the citizens to keep the rule of law or their country.
They are not about to let us elect Trump and reverse 30 years of flooding the country with fraudulently documented foreigners.

Yeb! was supposed to be The Designated Loser, just like McAmnesty and Romneycare before him.
They both took a dive, McCain went as far as endorsing his opponent.
The GOP has offered us only amnesty candidates since the last amnesty and that is not an accident.
Trump was the only candidate of the 17 who was not owned by The Cheap Labor Express.
NeverTrump is really about never-ending illegal alien inundation.
They do not intend to allow the citizens to keep the rule of law or their country.

Your stance reveals a critical lack of understanding regarding how Americans are grappling with this election. We do, in fact, see this as something bigger than ourselves, or even our partisan divisions.

In contrast, you and your electability idiot friends can only see what's good for prosperity of the establishment party. So tell me again: who are the selfish ones in this equation? (And oh yeah, by the way: an integral part of that 'something bigger than ourselves' is the complete destruction of the 'electability' establishment wing of the GOP. so far, so good).

And say hello to George Will, Michael Medved, and Mark Levin, and all the other crybabies for us. You will find that along with them, there's plenty of room for your 'electability' wing on the ash heap of history.

As far as Trump's 'electability' is concerned. it all depends on who you ask: your old think tank buddies in the party or the media, or an American.
