Donald Trump has hinted at the assassination of Hillary Clinton by supporters of gun rights.
The Republican nominee was speaking at a rally in Wilmington, North Carolina, about the next president’s power to appoint supreme court justices. “If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks,” he said, adding: “Although the second amendment people – maybe there is, I don’t know.”
The second amendment to the constitution protects the right of Americans to bear arms. Trump has accused his Democratic rival of wanting to abolish it, a charge that she denies. “This is simple – what Trump is saying is dangerous,” said Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook. “A person seeking to be the president of the United States should not suggest violence in any way.”
Jason Miller, a communications adviser for the Trump campaign, attempted to explain the candidate’s comments. “It’s called the power of unification,” he said. “Second amendment people have amazing spirit and are tremendously unified, which gives them great political power. And this year, they will be voting in record numbers, and it won’t be for Hillary Clinton, it will be for Donald Trump.”

I haven’t read though all of the 250 some posts on this thread so maybe someone else has already posted this.
Trump talks in short hand. He doesn’t always fully explain himself. Other people, including his advisers have said the same thing. This is habit that Trump is going to have watch himself on because they media is more than ready to fill in the blanks for Trump.
I’m 100% for Trump and I say let Donald be Donald. But he needs to be aware of the fact that he has to explain his points in their entirely or the press will distort them. The press will still distort what Trump says but don’t make it easy for them.

I am voting Ind pendent Party [ie the Veterans Party of America] because a vote for either of the 2 main CORRUPT, CRIMINAL ORG’S is a vote to kill our Republic even more. How much airtime would Trump get to explain his positions if he explained them entirely in his rallies with precise, clear uncontroversial language? IMO he would get ten times less than he does being himself.

It was jocular. We’ve had people actually try to kill Trump and it was barely considered news.
People need to turn off their TVs. Cable news. They get brainwashed by MSNBC, CNN, Fox, without knowing it. People who are otherwise rational and right, after hearing HOURS a day of Cable news programming, they end up almost unconsciously repeating the same points, even though they are for Trump.
