The New York Times Carlos Slim’s blog got caught in a lie today about Donald Trump’s military service.
The Times’ bloggers Steve Eder and David Phillips write: "Many men of Mr. Trump’s age were looking for ways to avoid the war, said Charles Freehof, a draft counselor at Brooklyn College at the time, noting that getting a letter from a physician was a particularly effective option.
“We had very little trouble with people coming back saying, ‘They wouldn’t accept my doctor’s note,’” Mr. Freehof said.

Interesting that they’re so concerned with Trump’s Selective Service classification but couldn’t dredge up a smidgen of curiosity re: hussein’s poorly forged card or clinton’s draft dodging.
this is the same newspaper that did all it could to make us lose that war and encouraged men to resist the draft.

Trump and I share this: we both were called in for our physicals. We both reported. We both were declared 1Y, mine due to knees, his due to heel spurs.
If there’s dishonor in that, well, don’t know what to say. Would you rather I be on the field and have my knees go out and have other soldiers risk themselves for me? I think not. That’s precisely why we have physical standards.

The bone in the back of my heel grew outward toward my ligament and I am in constant pain.
Walk slow with a limp. Three months in a cast, nothing. Back of my foot looks like I have a golf ball growing out of it.
Have to go get the bone cut out.

I would think if Trump had that problem the spurs were surgically removed and maintained.
I have a version and you are being stabbed form the inside and it is tough to walk without limping. Probably Trump had surgery.
I decided to bring the subject up because the leftist media is making a big deal about his bone spurs deferment, impugning that spurs are a minor thing and not cause for getting a 4F designation, therefore he's a draft dodger...you know the drill !!!
