Senator John McCain injected himself into the controversy between Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and Khizr Khan Monday. His primary opponent, former Arizona state Senator Dr. Kelli Ward, immediately called McCain out for falling for the "cynical political stunt cooked up by the Clinton Establishment."
In a statement provided to Breitbart News, Dr. Ward rips both Clinton and McCain.
"The Khan controversy is a cynical political stunt cooked up by the Clinton Establishment, and, sadly, John McCain has fallen right into it." She adds, "McCain’s statement today makes clear that he really wants Hillary Clinton in the White House, and his tepid 'support' for Trump is only disingenuous pandering."

She has my vote. I think the media has it all wrong and they are pushing for McCain. Kelli does get it and she is the only one I have seen who is out there all over the state talking to the people.

RUSH: Right. The Washington Post said that her speech took the convention into the gutter.
CALLER: Well, Cindy Sheehan? I seem to recall when she was being held up as a paragon of virtue, when she was venting her bile and bereavement.
RUSH: You know, that is an excellent point. You are exactly right. They were parading Cindy Sheehan around everywhere. She lost a son in the Iraq war, and she was a rock star everywhere the Democrat Party had an event. And the media followed her everywhere and made her a great hero and spokeswoman. They even made documentaries movies about her, if I recall. But Patricia Smith? She’s horrible. A little bit of what she said, grab sound bite 21 and give just a bit of.

My husband had exactly the same question. From what his research showed the only thing that they are hanging this on is in Trump's first statement about Capt. Khan he did not refer to him as a "Hero" although he has since done so. Now might you, Trump did not say Capt. Khan was not a hero, he just did not call him a "hero".
Oh, and he said he would have liked to have heard from the mother.
This is the horrible attack that must be denounced.
Too bad I cannot vote for Kelli Ward. What an improvement over the unstable, amnesty promoter McCain.
I fault Ward here. McCain didn’t “fall into the stunt”, he actively collaborated with it.

Not just husbands but all men. This was brought home to MrR and I this last weekend. We went to the Twin Cities for a few days and there was a muslim women on our floor. We all get to the elevator at the same time and my husband motions for her to get in first. She didn’t speak but insisted we go first, same when we got out. He and I both motion for her to go first, she shakes her head and waits for us to leave first.
