full tittle............Trump blasts ANOTHER fire marshal for 'political' interference after thousands are left outside his rally despite massive empty spaces inside............................... Fire marshal in Columbus, Ohio cut off Donald Trump's crowd at 1,000 Cavernous exhibit hall was only half-used, and massive empty spaces remained inside Trump claimed he was being discriminated against 'purely for political reasons ' and asked if the mayor is a Democrat 'We could've had four, five, six thousand people. Theyve all been turned away. It's a disgrace,' he added Trump also slammed a fire marshal in Colorado last week for shutting the door on him and forcing people to sit in an overflow room

Are the Fire Marshall’s Union?
I’d LOVE to tell someone to go out and tell the people in line to hang on and he’ll come out and see them after the rally. I could see Trump walking the line, shaking hands, taking a few pics, etc. Granted it would take some time, but doing it just once would send a powerful message!
Go Trump!
The room is rated for 4400 people
He can have up to 4400 people in there with out an issue with the fire department
cutting it off at 1000 was a pure political d!ck move
Ka-sick!
Malfeasance is the word that springs to mind.
Doubtless directly traceable to that lumpy, whiny, beta-looking Dem mayor.
Meanwhile Hillary Clinton cant get 50 people to show up at her events and Donald Trump has SO many people showing up to his the line goes for BLOCKS
DUH!
This is well within Trump's purview.

Exactly. Wouldn’t have been able to get the place past code regulations to operate...
If there were empty seats it’s pretty obvious.
Whatever happened to public servants who do the job they’re paid to do by the tax payers, and not use it for personal political gain? If you’re willing to put your political interests above those of the people on something like this, you’ll be willing to do it for other things and have already demonstrated that you can’t be trusted.
But it’s not a ‘room’ with one exit. It’s part of a much larger space cordoned off with curtains.
Look at the pictures.
....
The entire hall is a 72,000 square-foot behemoth that can seat 4,140 people at banquet tables without running afoul of the fire code, according to the convention center's event planning guide.
Emphasis added.
This story needs more follow up to resolve this apparent discrepancy. Does the fire marshal agree with the convention center's planning guide that its ok to have 4000 people at a banquet? If so how does he reckon the limit of 1000 to a speaking event? Not saying there can't be some reason, but it looks odd enough that he should at least give an explanation to the public. And it seems to me journalists should be asking him instead of making it about what Trump "claims" or doesn't "claim". If there is leftwing political corruption, conservatives should not have to do all the research. Journalists should do it (though I am not holding my breath).
This is absolute misuse of one’s office for political reasons. Corruption in your face. It speaks of cronyism at the lowest levels to the highest....................
I expect this to happen wherever he goes from now on.
Even if the place was made to seat 50k people, the ‘Fire Marshall’ will disallow it for ‘safety’ reasons.............................

And consequential damages, like the cost of the airplane and the staff time to organize and get there.
