COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. Billionaire Charles Koch called the notion that he would support Democrat Hillary Clinton in the general election blood libel, while doubling down on his assertion that he wouldnt support Republican Donald Trump.
The first thing I want to do is correct a rumor that the media keeps stimulating, and that is that Im probably going to support Hillary, Koch told a group of about 400 donors. He added, to a round of cheers: That is a blood libel, using a term that refers to the anti-Semitic belief that Jews used the blood of Christian children to make ritual bread called matzo.

p.s. I predict that the "blood libel" reference is going to get a lot of people upset for using such a label to apply to someone supporting Hillary!
Well, maybe he is Jewish enough to be “allowed” to use that reference. But I am not certain. One thing is certain, Sarah Palin was not allowed to use that term.

Chuck envisions himself as a the second coming of Jesus Christ and his mission is to create Utopia for the little people.
Sorry, checked his family connections, Dutch but not Jewish, so then he is certainly not allowed to use “blood libel” according to the PC liberal media establishment.
Who cares if he said that, he’s with her, it’s plain as day, no matter what he says.
The Koch brothers are first and foremost libertarians, not so much conservatives, and The Donald is really neither one. This is not to defend or denigrate the Koch brothers, as they do yeoman work at the legislative level, and they occupy some of the oddest real estate in the world - they live in the minds of liberals rent-free. Just listen to some of the things that Harry Reid has said of them in the past. Harry really cannot think about much else.
——they do yeoman work at the legislative level,——
That apparently is where their current support is directed.
Support funds are finite and the current support is directed to the congressional races.
I’m sure risk mitigation is a big part of their success. Trump is a risk in many ways. He could self destruct before the election. We don’t know what direction he’ll go on many issues after the election. I think the risk is worth it. But they don’t.
Whether Trump wins or loses, and is a great or lousy conservative president there will be bad blood between lots of one-time-allies. There may be some shuffling of “leadership”. The Kochs want to stay outside of all of that and be friends of DC leadership no matter how things come out. They also don’t want to piss off Trump-haters (R, D, and voters) and get more bad publicity from the media which will certainly come with support for Trump and cost them $$$.
They also could be negotiating with Trump and and waiting for cheap labor compromise.
This isnt such a bad thing. Trump has run as an outsider. One of his strategies is to call out Hillary for taking money from donors who control her.
If he takes Koch money, he will be labeled a hypocrite. Let Koch fund the down ticket races and Trump can fund his run.
We need to say “pro Clinton” not “anti Trump.”
The Kochs are Roman Catholic.
I don’t want Trump to get money from the Kochs but the Demagogues are going to have hundreds of millions going through SuperPACs to buy attack ads. The Kochs ought to counter that, unless they want to watch Shrillary be elected.
Everytime I see an article about the Koch brothers I think of that political show Alpha House on Amazon. The brothers on that show must be mocking the Koch Brothers.
The smarmy guy played by Kelly Rippa’s husband is probably Rubio
Can’t have the cake and eat it, Chuck...
It is sad but true
Anti-Trump is Pro-Hill’ry
One or the Other
RE: “Kochs live rent free in liberals minds” ...A liberal cousin of mine mentioned the “Koch” brothers, derisively of course. I asked her if she knew of George Soros...she did not. Aaaggghhh.

They are big liberal punching bags. Perhaps they know that if they openly support Trump, they could lose a lot of disillusioned Dems and Bernie Bros as potential Trump voters.
