Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump posted a two-point lead over his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll released on Tuesday, the first time he has been ahead since early May.
Trump's gains came as he accepted his party's nomination to the Nov. 8 ballot at the four-day Republican National Convention in Cleveland last week, and as Clinton's nomination in Philadelphia this week was marred by party divisions and the resignation of a top party official.

Rooters is shady!
“Its Reuters job to discourage you, thats why they had Hillary up 15 points two weeks ago.”
Nobody is voting now. Fake polls favoring Hillary can only hurt her. Her message falls flat and she thinks she is winning.
Romney lost the last election because Gallup said he was ahead, when in fact he was behind. He sat back and stopped fighting.
Only morons get discouraged by bad polls. Most people just work harder.
Chuck Todd, is that you?
lol
There’s no edging. The Trump is miles ahead. Reuters just decided it should get with the program as the time draws nearer.
These polls are totally rigged I don’t believe any of them. They are only showing Trump ahead because that is what the DNC and Media want us to see. This will only make the news bigger next week when ALL of the media outlets will be touting how Hillary is SURGING past trump in the polls. Mark my word, this is total manipulation!!!
We will have to talk people off the ledge here on Monday
True, folks HATE Ms.Clinton.
The reality is that folks are going to keep the choice of voting for Trump SECRET so they are left alone.
This is why AMERICANS are ARMED to the teeth.
and Romney was way ahead of Obama last time ,gots to make up for voter fraud some how
No MSG!
You wan egg roll with tha? Only $2!
Why are so many people who make these memes functionally illiterate?
If spoken aloud, that would read “...a few one hundred...”
He meant to say, “...a few hundred...”
And yes, it *is* important. Evil people use errors like that to (a) draw attention away from the message, and (b) support claims that we are stupid.
“I hope The Rats know they are throwing away millions of dollars on this drunken hag.”
I hope they don’t. I love it.
Yeah, well didn’t Romney have a nice little lead against the Izzlumist in the White House right up to the election only to get his butt beat when all the bums came out to vote at the last minute to save their free bennies??? And now we have even more illegals and muzzies brought into the country who will vote.
Well the cute little murderer will get his ass blown away if he comes near any of us at our church. We have security in our church made up of several of the men who pack their concealed carry weapon on our bodies during church and we have security around the church during services. We have become a little better at doing this as the threat levels rise and more people are starting to pay attention. I am not letting one of these thugs get into our church and start killing old people and children. Only over the dead bodies of several of we men, who by the way are not 35-55 years old. I am in my 60s and several others are, but we are all still very capable of getting off a round or two from our semiauto pistols. My wife even has her 38 in her purse. We won’t go quietly at our little house of Worship of our Lord Jesus Christ. AND, I believe He is watching over us also. He is the best guard of all.
Check out realclearpolitics rolling average - Trump ahead there in 2-way race, even (but will probably pull ahead in next day or two) in 4-way race. Also interesting is that Trump gains seem to have come from all 3 other candidates.
I am the functional illiterate, because I’m typesetting to fit lines evenly.
Reuters poll was at one point 50-38 D at one point
