WASHINGTON An Alexandria police officer who says she was refused service at a local restaurant is getting an apology.
Peter Feltham, with the Alexandria Committee of Police told NBC 4 an Alexandria officer went into a Noodles & Company on Duke Street for dinner Monday evening and was denied service.
While they were waiting in line, the cook from behind the counter went up to the cash register person and pointed at the police officer and said, You have to take me off the line. I aint serving that. The officer realized what was happening and rather than make an incident of it, the officer just left the business, Feltham said.
Police spokeswoman Crystal Nosal says it was never made clear why the officer was singled out, but said she was in full uniform at the time.

The officer should have told them she was transgender, then watched these idiots squirm.
Further, anyone want to bet that the cook left some DNA in the soup that day?
Well it’s better then getting the “ Jesse Jackson Special Sauce” on your food.
I’ve been to one of these. I thought it was overpriced for some fancy mac and cheese.

While they were waiting in line...”
They?
Was this one cop or two?
If I was a police officer nowadays, I would be packing a sack lunch from home.
No more business with Noodles for this house.
And every other day he worked. I now eat out only at places I can watch them prepare the food, or trust the cook. And these places are scarce as hen’s teeth.
The officer realized what was happening
At this point she should have taken his picture, distributed to everyone on the force, letting them know exactly what happened.
That is how you ruin his day for a couple years.
Now this site is on Google Earth with a pithy comment....
And shame on everyone else in the line and for that matter in the entire restaurant for not walking right out the door behind the officer.....
Yelp review from earlier today:
Update - my husband got sick from eating here. Not entirely surprised considering how disgusting this place was. I’m surprised the Health Dept has not shut down this location

Thats what I do, if I can’t see you make it, ala Subway, I don’t eat there.
Cops eating at any place they do not completely trust are being foolish.
I know police officers that still go through the drive through in the hood.
I imagine the manager’s having a “come to Jesus” talk with that cook...
That makes as much sense as boycotting FreeRepublic for the posts of one idiot.
How about waiting to see how Noodles and Company responds, just was we wait to see how JR & Co respond to the idiot poster?
That’s probably a brilliant comment, but could you elucidate?
