Todays opening segment of Morning Joe was onelonggush-fest over First Lady Michelle Obamas speech to the DNC last night. The apotheosis of adulation came from Joe Scarborough, who said that the speech reminded me of Ronald Reagan.
Scarborough also had an America love it or leave it message for those who think our country needs to be made great again: we are the last best hope for a dying world. If you cant get behind that message as a Republican or a Democrat, then let me buy you a ticket to another country. Wonder if Joe offered Michelle a ticket out back in 2008 when she said that for the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country?

The convention sounds like it’s in Greece socialism pimping full time.
Yes, very tingly thrill through his leg.
Thanks for that info.
Classy First Lady? You’re not serious?
:: we are the last best hope for a dying world ::
First...who the hell are you talking about with this “WE” $4!t; you and Mika?
Second...have you never read the Bible where the Apostles say the same thing; “hope for a dying world”?
And, speaking of “dying”, how’d that corpse of an intern in your congressional office turn out. I suspect that HRC has a photocopy of your FBI file, right?
I follow Morning Joe closely. I’ve heard Joe say he won’t vote for Trump so long as he maintains a Muslim ban, but have never heard him say he’d vote for Hillary. Can you provide a link or other info?
No. It was an offhand comment in the midst of their usual Trump bashing: *Of course I’m going to vote for her!*
Taken as an individual event, I guess you could call it gracious and classy not to mock Melania for what happened to her. But did you listen to her whole speech? And have you been watching this woman for the last 7 years? Because “classy” is about the last word that applies to her, and gracious is pretty high up there too.
