Just one day after the global premiere of Clinton Cash, Hans Westberg, the embattled CEO and president of telecoms company Ericsson, stepped down as the head of the Swedish wireless equipment maker.
Though the telecom giants announcement to remove Westberg is not confirmed as a direct result of the films online popularity, the companys timing is an odd coincidence.
The New York Times best-selling book Clinton Cash, authored by Government Accountability Institute President and Breitbart Senior Editor-at-Large Peter Schweizer, highlighted that Ericsson on Westbergs watch had come under heavy fire for selling telecom equipment to countries that were considered state sponsors of terrorism by Hillarys State Department.
The company had received a letter in late 2010 from the Securities and Exchange Commission, warning it about the sells to oppressive governments. U.S. diplomatic cables noted that State Department officials had regularly and increasingly raised Ericssons transgressions with the Swedish foreign minister.
In June 2011, the State Department began drafting a list of specific goods and services that should be covered under expanded sanctions that were to be imposed on Iran and other state sponsors of terrorism.
Meanwhile, Ericsson decided to pay Bill Clinton more money than he had ever been paid for a single speech: $750,000. In the previous decade, Ericsson had never sponsored a speaking engagement for either Hillary or Bill Clinton.
During his November 12, 2011 speech at a telecom conference in Hong Kong, Bill Clinton spoke in general terms about the positive role telecom plays in our lives. One week later, on November 19, the State Department unveiled its new sanctions list for Iran. Telecom was not on the list.

In politics, there are no 'coincidences'.....................
What is happening to her reminds me of the “death of a thousand cuts”. Couldn’t happen to a nicer harridan.
They will dump her and stick in her running mate!
Clintons are becoming ‘toxic’ and people are diving for cover...Clinton Cash has opened the door to how they take money for promises, deals, positions, and then use Our Government to make them work...
It was good that people had the chance to watch Clinton Cash, I had to read it twice and then make a chart on each chapter...but I got though it...they are worse than any Mafia you could find...
So Hillary has a job program..... Hire all those that resigned to protect her. Can’t wait for next quarters job numbers report!

Is there a Patriot left in the State Dept? Probably not, but if there is and they came forward with a Draft of the Iran policy prior to Nov. 19, 2011 and Telecom was on the list, the Clintons are through.
She hired DWS...............at least it’s official now..............
I don’t care who you are, “Clinton Cash” makes the case.
Our people have died and will die, as a result of the Clintons.
Maybe the State’s $6Bn went directly there.
It’s likely that the Clintons are paying off any number of pols in the US and out. Up and down the line.
Yep, thanks Clintons
HarleyLady I would have had trouble reading the book trying to keep ALL of the dots connected, I am so GRATEFUL Breitbart put the movie up for us it was VERY easy to follow the dots do know HOW you managed to get through the book and keep ALL the players straight in your mind!!!
I’m impressed! That movie left my head spinning. I got the point of it, but I still couldn’t repeat much of who’s who & what they did to my husband. I guess he will have to watch it himself!
Oh my.
This week is becoming the perfect storm - like working in a s—t factory. The more you stir the more it stinks.
I watched ‘Clinton Cash’ and followed my charts, there were some people he left out, but they were not as important as the ones he mentioned...
The good thing about seeing it, instead of reading it, is that you could see the map, the faces of the people, where they were and who they were and how it all played into Clintons getting rich off governments and the evil promises they made for money...
I do hope before this is all over that they do a RICO indictment on both of them...that’s what it’s going to take to bring them completely down and put them both in Prison...
When Hillary was confirmed as S. of S. in January 2009, dealing with Vladimire Putin would become a major part of her job. And the uranium deal in Kazakhstan, whose shareholders were sending in tens of millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation and were also providing ‘speechmaking’ opportunities for Bill, would set the stage to bring Putin into the cast of characters.

What President Obama and Hillary Clinton had in mind was a ‘reset’. At Foggy Bottom, Hillary offered the Kremlin a chance to clean the slate and begin anew.

In the heart of the ‘reset’ was what Newsweek called ‘a bevy of potential business deals’.

These included deals involving oil and natural gas, which are the backbone of the Russian economy. The Kremlin had their own ambitions to expand its share of the world nuclear market. Uranium, civilian nuclear power plants, and the technical services that supported them were considered a hugh growth industry for Moscow.
In 2006 the Kremlin had approved plans ‘to spend $10 billion to increase Russia’s annual uranium production by 600%.

Putin considered the nuclear energy sector ‘a priority branch for the country, which makes Russia a great power’. Russia not only wanted to build nuclear plants around the world, it also wanted to control a large chunk of the global uranium market.
The Russian State Atomic Nuclear Agency (Rosatom) handles all things nuclear in Russia. Unlike the US Department of Energy or the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Rosatom is not just deeply imbedded with civilian nuclear power but actually6 controls the Russian nucleaar arsenal.

Becker and Van Natta, “After Mining Deal, Financier Donated to Clinton.”
I find it curious that just as these payoffs were occurring, Ericsson bought a key US telecommunications company. Ericsson to Buy Telcordia for $1.2 Billion to Add Services.
Now Telcordia is an interesting company because they were the successor company to AT&T's BellLabs. Their legacy network systems are at the heart of the US telecom infrastructure and they provision critical pieces of the Internet through the big carriers. Because of the national security implications of purchasing them, the deal would never go through without high level approvals at the FCC and other high government places.
So this news calls into question whether the Clinton payoff greased the skids for this acquisition.
Maybe not, but we are learning something new day after day about the corruption that circles the Clintons.
Pretty clear connection. I’d like to hear any arguments otherwise. And there are more release to come from wikileaks.
“Meanwhile, Ericsson decided to pay Bill Clinton more money than he had ever been paid for a single speech: $750,000.”
If Clinton had thrown in a couple of brown-bag luncheon speeches for the staff; then it would have been “only” $250,000 per speech.
