HARRISBURG (AP) - Donald Trump will visit Pennsylvania next week in the middle of the Democratic National Convention for the first time as the Republican presidential nominee.
State party officials said Trump will visit Lackawanna College in Scranton on Wednesday.

Hillary and the DNC left us alone during our convention...the least we should do is allow them to have their convention in peace and quiet.
Trump will draw so many away from Hillary, I fear her message may be lost.

I’m wondering if she can really make it through the whole convention. Bet we only see her twice...10 minutes with Michelle & Obama and 10 minutes with her VP. No way is she going to opt for more than 20 minutes. She has “0” stamina.

Two other reasons why Scranton is a great strategic move: Heart of the “coal country” and filled with Byzantine and Orthodox churches whose extended families in the “old country” are on the front lines of Islamofascism.

I am not sure that the Amish don’t vote. There are differences between Amish communities, with some being much more stringent than others.
When Ross Perot was running, my husband was the head of our county’s Perot campaign.
Much to our surprise, at one county wide meeting, all these Amish men, with very serious faces, filed in to listen to the presentation. They rode buggies from quite a distance, too.
Just an interesting anecdote for you all, and please know that the communities keep in close touch with one another via snail mail newsletters, and discuss a lot of these subjects.

I’m originally from NEPA and let me tell you from Carbondale south down the line to Wilkes Barre is HEAVY democrat lands. Almost a democratic as Philly. I mean it’s that bad. I was definitely a white whale growing up , up there. Heard some family taking recently that they’ve had it, specifically with terrorism and immigration and that they were This time around Trump people. I almost fell off my chair. Couldn’t believe it, and they weren’t kidding. They were all in for him. These are hard core democrats !!
Union or social issues which rule these folks never came up all night. It was terrorism, immigration, and economy in that order
