Tell you what...if Pence isn’t Trump’s VP pick, this is one doozy of an elaborate ruse. I mean, Trump could certainly afford to pay for the plane, the fuel, a bunch of SUV’s to transport Pence, and a hotel for the night, just to have the pleasure of thumbing his nose at the media.
But, I think it’s highly unlikely he’d go to all that trouble.
There would also be a USSS security detail protecting his family, at the same time he receives the official federal protection in NJ.
