I thought they had at least one suspect in custody—alive.
The country is divided and it would not surprise me if the terrorist use this to recruit and set up situations like this.
I believe in concealed carry but one of these incidents if I am not mistaken came about because of people not following what is required. Unfortunately it appears that people with Concealed Carry Permits have not been properly trained.
I am a retired Law enforcement Officer and I went and got a Concealed Carry Permit.My biggest reason was to get updated and hone my skills because of my age.The course I took had a very good instructor that pounded the situation and facts in. I personally think a lot of these permits have been given to folks without proper training.
The Shooting of the man with the permit if the facts I have are correct unfortunately was about not following proper procedure.
If I were to be stopped or confronted by police I would keep my hands where he could see them,inform him I had a weapon and permit and wait and follow his instructions. It is that simple really.
Again I say training,common sense and following the orders of the policeman worked for me for over 30 years. Folks today do not listen or follow lawful instructions and it is proven out in society everywhere you go.Starting with the children.Folks resent authority and without it this country is gone.On top of that we have some of our leaders pontificating and stirring up trouble.
Can TSA release those records?

Last night they thought there were 2 or more shooters. Anyone have information on what happened to the other shooter suspects?
3 are being held. This is the Police Chiefs recent comment.

I was on a UAE news site the night before this and the weird thing was that among all the local Arabs posting there was one jackass named “Shabaaz” [a Nation of Islam name] who was spewing all kinds of accusations against cops in the US...and he stuck out because the Arabs were pointing out his errors in logic, etc.
Why would a NOI type be posting on an UAE news web site where he was not being received well instead of something closer to home?
He's a dummy, and doesn't understand that most Arab/Middle Eastern muslims view members of the NOI as muslim wannabes. At least that's my impression having worked behind bars, and observing them for 25 years.

Perusing his Facebook page shows an odd assortment of posts, from anti police posts and links to pro Donald Trump posts. There are even a few derogatory Hillary Clinton posts. This guy is all over the place. The anti police posts/links look like true violations of the public’s trust that would probably anger any of us too. It just doesn’t seem blatantly obvious that this guy would flip out and start killing cops willy nilly. Also he is listed as being from Baltimore. Did he drive from Baltimore to Dallas with specific intent or instructions? Why did he choose Dallas instead of just committing his atrocities in Baltimore. Could this guy just be a patsy. Something smells fishy I just can’t put my finger on it.
I was referring to the “X” for a middle name... it’s often a sign... more like ‘Malcolm X’... right?
In his case though I think his middle name was xavier.
