DENVER Once a swing state in presidential elections, Colorado has teetered on becoming solidly Democratic. Donald Trump may have pushed it over the edge.
Trumps disparaging words about Mexicans, negative comments about women and weak campaign organization have punctuated the states shift from a nip-and-tuck battleground to one thats Democrat-friendly. ...
And its not just Colorado. Trumps inflammatory rhetoric and weak campaign structure could ensure that perennially competitive Nevada and New Mexico are out of reach as well.

BTW, it is completely clear to all in the ABQ area (including those who won't mention or acknowledge it) that most crime, especially the violent variety, is due to the large number of illegals and/or drug perps active due to ineffective border controls. I would hope a lot of voters would take that into account and hesitate to pull the lever for the usual Rat presidential candidate.

More Liberal phony-baloney.
meh
Trump has been campaigning all over the place. His campaign does not look like campaigns of the past
More hacks and pundits telling people what they think but not what Trump thinks
GET OUT THE VOTE!!!!!
This article is wrong in at least instance. Trump will win Nevada. I can’t say anything about New Mexico or Colorado, but he will win Nevada.
CO, NM & NA have been trending democrat for decades....so putting this on Trump is just plain lazy writing.
Utah might be problematical for Trump, those Mormon nitwits are in the tank for Bishop Romney and Prophet Beck.
I’d be willing to lay money that Trump wins Utah easily. Mormon nitwits notwithstanding.
From your keyboard to God’s flat panel monitor FRiend. I hope you’re right.
Completely agree!
Yes about NV but what about Utah and Arizona?
Trump has a very good chance he takes Colorado. Only 1% separation in poll and really likely ahead of Clinton.
Exactly. This is garbage. Unless the votes in November are rigged, she will get creamed.
“Utah might be problematical for Trump, those Mormon nitwits are in the tank for Bishop Romney and Prophet Beck.”
The Mormons certainly are a tight knit group. Here in SW New Mexico, when talking with the Mormons I know, and the topic of Trump is brought up, they all seem to just go quiet, when traditionally they’d get excited about the republican nominee. I highly doubt they’ll be voting for Hillary but I’m not so sure they’ll vote for Trump either. I suspect they’ll just refrain from voting for president.
They’ll always have Glenn Beck.
And Cheetoes in Paris.
Yes, click bait.
Obviously.
Yeah, divisive rhetoric from a Republican, very bad, we can’t vote for you. Criminal actions with classified and secret information from a Democrat, not a problem, we will vote for you.
It would be nice if Governor Martinez would at least pretend to give some support to Trump. It was bad enough that she skipped his rally in Albuquerque, but then just a week or so later when Obama and ‘family’ went on vacation and visited Carlsbad Caverns, Gov. Martinez went to Roswell to welcome and meet them on the tarmac!
I think AZ will be a rather easy win for Trump, Utah as well. Nevada will be closer but I am certain it will still fall into the Trump column.
