The FBI is being sued by survivors of the shooting inside the Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, who say federal mistakes enabled Dylann Roof to buy the .45-caliber handgun he used.
Lawyers for three people who survived the attack and the estates of five who were slain say the FBI negligently failed to conduct a thorough background check before Roof bought the gun last year.

Sue the DNC Corporation.
EVERYONE should apply in California and no issue areas.
Are the victims of rape and murder from illegals and muslim immigrants allowed to sue too?
“we keep lists”, he wasn’t on the list. What else do you want us to do?
Kate’s family is.
Yes we must be able to sue for crimes committed by those “screened” by the government!
Syrians,Mexicans etc etc
Then end the lists!
If I’m not mistaken, obummer gave each of the families $3 million dollars, and now they are suing for more?
While this may fall under the umbrella of the government having no obligation to protect any individual, the fact that they can make situations more dangerous without recourse is unacceptable.
Tennessee was the last state to make private sector liable for no guns zones.
Yep and they received that money in no short order as well.
“Lawyers for three people who survived the attack and the estates of five who were slain say the FBI negligently failed to conduct a thorough background check before Roof bought the gun last year.”
It is as if they knew this guy was going to do this and they obliged him with no thorough background checks like they did it on purpose.
Some lawyers have too much time on their hands. Or they’re stupid. One or the other. Or both.
Good point!
In these days where evil reigns probably not, but they should.
It’s interesting watching this gubmit and seeing through their eyes who is EVIL and who are “victims”.
Lucifer reigns at the FBI.
Seems to me that this is the beginning of the leftists attempt to get court ordered lists for reasons to deny gun purchases.
The victims of the Orlando shooter could make a far better case of this.
3 million just doesn’t go that far these days, you know. /sarcasm
Didn’t this vermin’s parents give him this gun for his birthday or something? What makes me think that’s what happened? I could swear that’s what I thought I heard......
3 mil.!? Reparations that not all shooting victims qualify for just like stimulus ‘grants’ (gifts).
He had a narcotics arrest a few months earlier, and was on probation. Both of those are disqualifiers. And if the FBI saw the arrest and he didn’t check those two boxes on the form, he lied on it, another crime.
And the FBI let him sail right through. Just like the Orlando shooter.
Its almost like they need these mass shootings. Has everyone forgotten fast and furious? I hope the church sues the snot out of them.
You heard wrong. He bought it at the store, filled out the form and got a delay. The FBI looked into it more, and let the sale go through despite his recent dope conviction and the fact that he was still on probation.
