Presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton met with FBI officials Saturday about her private email server that has sparked a federal investigation, her campaign said.
"Secretary Clinton gave a voluntary interview this morning about her email arrangements while she was Secretary," Clinton campaign spokesman Nick Merrill said in an email Saturday afternoon. "She is pleased to have had the opportunity to assist the Department of Justice in bringing this review to a conclusion. Out of respect for the investigative process, she will not comment further on her interview."
Sources confirm to CBS News that the investigation is in its final phase and interviewing Clinton was one of the last steps before concluding the investigation and submitting recommendations on whether charges should be filed.
The meeting, which lasted approximately three-and-a-half hours, took place at FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C., according to a campaign aide.

Search warrant?
A voluntary interview?
And they still call this a security review??
“Voluntary interview”?
Really?
Hopefully it was done under oath.
Yes, in was voluntary in the sense they called a gave her the choice to come in on her schedule or they would bring her in on theirs.
The reason you interview on the Saturday before the 4th is to bury the story. Not a good sign.
It was not done under oath but there are still charges that can be filed against anyone who lies to federal law officers. Under oath or not
Fmr Asst Dir of FBI was on Fox, said not under oath, but does not matter- it is against the law to lie to the FBI either way.
Fox News is reporting on this all morning. Interesting how this “breaking” news is on a Saturday, Fourth of July weekend. Maybe they’re hoping this too shall pass while we’re all looking to our BBQ’s and our traveling and our family gatherings.
Where she probably stated, “I go down then Obama goes down because he knew about my server and emailed me thinking it was ok also”.
So Mrs. Clinton, how’s Chelsea and her husband?
Heard anything from Bill lately?
Nice weather we’re having...
Do you have any plans for the 4th?
Okay, well thanks. Sorry to have bothered you.
Just remember that we can now say we grilled you at length.
Have a great rest of your live...
“She is pleased to have had the opportunity to assist the Department of Justice in bringing this review to a conclusion.
Because Bill already took care of it the other day with the Attorney General in Phoenix.
...A voluntary interview?
And they still call this a security review?...
Did she lawyer up for the “interview?”
...- it is against the law to lie to the FBI...
How many times did she say she couldn’t remember or couldn’t recall the answer?
The FBI is not going to ask Herself any question they do not authoritatively and absolutely know the answer to.
If Herself answers, “I don’t recall”, she may very well be telling the truth to the best of her ability. Long bouts with excessive alcohol consumption tend to have that effect on the capacity to recall facts and specifics.
And a lot of this may have been done while distinctly under the influence of alcohol. Often results in total blackouts.
Did she have her mouthpiece with her?
Good question. After Clintoon left with the FBI, Cheryl Mills was seen leaving the residence with two bags that looked like they had “a cloth or something” in them.
Was she even brought in? The vehicles had black windows. They have the proof and if serious, could have cuffed her at the interview. We are being played.
Hasn’t she already lied to federal officials....or was it only the American people?
They went to the Queen, she does not go to them.
Voluntary because there are no charges. Hillary could have told the FBI “No thanks” and been within her constitutional rights. Politically, that would be damning. By being a public figure she has to dance like the innocent and speak like she is guilty. Hard to think she made it through this without obstructing justice with the content of over 60,000 emails in evidence.
