The FBI is not going to ask Herself any question they do not authoritatively and absolutely know the answer to.

If Herself answers, “I don’t recall”, she may very well be telling the truth to the best of her ability. Long bouts with excessive alcohol consumption tend to have that effect on the capacity to recall facts and specifics.

And a lot of this may have been done while distinctly under the influence of alcohol. Often results in total blackouts.

You are correct but missed a small point. The FBI isn’t really going to ask her any questions. They will give her an opportunity to explain anything she wants and say whatever she wants to try to clear herself. They will not ask any relevant questions because they don’t have to. They know she has lawyered up. They would have to read her Miranda Rights if they asked about any specific items. That is not going to happen with a few dozen lawyers present.

The whole purpose of this exercise is so the FBI can say they gave her an opportunity to clear her name of the pending allegations. They do not have to speak with her. They do not have to do anything but present their findings to DOJ. The entire email?FBI investigation is about “playing out the clock”. Dean Smith at UNC would call it the Four Corners.
